Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) described Ramadan as the month of patience (narrated by Nesa’ee). He also stated that being grateful to Allah is half the faith, and being patient is the other half of faith.

He said: “I wonder for the affairs of the believer, all his affairs is good for him; this fate only belongs to those who believe. If he is enjoying a blessing, he is grateful to Allah, and this is good for him; and if he is experiencing difficulty, he patiently persevere, and this is good for him”

In Ramadan, we go through a good training of patience. We experience high ethics in our own worlds. We accustom our stomach to patience by not eating anything though we are hungry, by not drinking even a sip of water though our throat dries out of thirst.

During Ramadan we must control our desire for food and drink and intimate contact, and we pray regularly and offer additional prayers, and we recite the Qur’an often, and we conduct ourselves properly and not harm anyone in word or deed, and we hasten in all good deeds.

All this requires patience, perseverance, determination and commitment. Our priorities change so that pleasing God and getting close to Him is our main goal, everything else becomes secondary. Because Ramadan requires patience and sacrifice, Allah promised a great reward for those who fast this month with devotion and conduct themselves properly.

On the other hand, if we happen to get angry, or if our souls force us to backbite or to tell lies and bad words, we instantly refrain and remember that we are fasting and thus show patience against such evils.

What leads man to certain mistakes, causes him to perpetrate certain crimes, and lies on the grounds of many calamities that he is faced with is the patience that he could not show in the beginning. If he had shown patience in the first place and persevered, he could have avoided that calamity. So, “The cure for impatience which doubles the
disasters humans encounter is fasting.”

This training of patience that we carry out during Ramadan makes us recall those whose circumstances are more straitened than ours. This is because however poor one may be, one can by all means still find others poorer and more in need than oneself.

The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said:

“In Ramadan there is a night which is better than a thousand months, and whoever is deprived of its goodness is indeed deprived.”

“Whoever prays during the night of Qadr with faith and hoping for its reward will have all of his previous sins forgiven.”

Here are some tips of things we can do on the Night of Power and the time before and after it.

Take a vacation for Allah.

We take a break from our jobs for almost everything in life. Why not this time to focus on worshiping and thanking our Creator.

Do I’tikaf.

It was a practice of the Prophet to spend the last ten days and nights of Ramadan in the masjid for I’tikaf.

Make this special Dua.

Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, said: I asked the Messenger of Allah: ‘O Messenger of Allah, if I know what night is the night of Qadr, what should I say during it?’ He said: ‘Say: O Allah, You are pardoning and You love to pardon, so pardon me.’

Recite the Quran.

Perhaps you can choose Surahs or passages from the Quran, which you have heard in Tarawih this past Ramadan to recite. Reflect on the meaning of the Quran.

Choose the latest Surah or Surahs you’ve heard in Tarawih and read their translation and Tafseer. Then think deeply about their meaning and how it affects you on a personal level.

Get your sins wiped out.

Don’t just pray using the shorter Surahs that you know. Try to make your prayers longer, deeper and meaningful. If you are familiar with longer Surahs, read the translation and explanation and then pray reciting these Surahs, carefully reflecting on the meaning while you pray.

Even if you are only familiar with the shorter Surahs, read the translation and explanation beforehand, and then pray reflecting on the message of the Surahs.

Make long, sincere and deep Duas

One of the best times to do this is during the last part of the night.

Attend the Dua after the completion of Quran recitation

Almost all Masjids where the Imam aims to finish an entire reading of the Quran in Tarawih prayers in Ramadan will be completing their recitation in these last ten nights.

We need a Ramadan, a month of Tawbaah.

We need a Ramadan, a month of Maghfira.

We need a Ramadan to correct our behavior, to correct the differences & the difficulties and the envy / jealousies in our relationship between one another.

We need a Ramadan to understand that we have been committing injustice to one and another. And as the Prophet (pbuh) said :

‘Az-Zulm (injustice) . “Zulumaat yawmal Qiyaamah” we’ll be changed physically into darkness on the Day of Judgement.’

Ramadan is a month of Forgiveness.

Ramadan is a month of Rahmah.

Ramadan is the month of Generosity.

Ramadan, the month that Allah subhaanahu wa ta’ala accepts the Tawbah of the servants, and the month that Allah blesses His servants.

We are in need of Ramadan to correct ourselves, for we have forgotten Allah tabarak wa ta’ala for the majority of the year.

To correct ourselves for we have been neglectful.

To correct ourselves for we are not upon the remembrance of Allaah.

To correct ourselves because our hearts have gotten hard, some hearts are dead, some hearts are sick , some hearts are stone-cold, some hearts are black, getting no benefit whatsoever. Some hearts are so bad, and so ill that they see a good as a Munkar, (as an evil), and they see an evil as a good. These are not as they should be.

We need a Ramadan because our connection with Allaah tabarak wa ta’ala is not correct.

We need a Ramadan because we do not have any Khushoo or devotion in our Salaah.

We need a Ramadan because our Qura’an has dust and is sitting on a shelf.

We need a Ramadan because we never read the books of Sunnah.

We need a Ramadan because we don’t fast, and if we fast physically without food or drink, we don’t fast with our eyes by lowering them and our tongue by not slandering and our tongue by not lying and back-biting. We need a Ramadan to get ourselves back in order, to work for the Hereafter, to connect ourselves to Allah tabarak wa ta’ala.

We need a Ramadan because relationships brother to brother and sister to sister is in a miserable condition.

We need a Ramadan because we have bad thoughts about one another.

We need a Ramadan because there is backbiting, there is envy, there is jealousy, and there is slander.

We need a Ramadan because we are despicable, because we are sick.

We need a Ramadan because we don’t believe in the promise of Allah tabarak wa ta’ala, or if we do, we do not implement it.

We need a Ramadan because it is time for us to change and become something better then we are now.

We need a Ramadan because we don’t have unity, there’s no brotherhood

We need a Ramadan because there’s no respect for elders.

We need a Ramadan because there’s no real love between us.

We need a Ramadan, full of love and the Mercy of Allah tabarak wa ta’ala.

A Ramadan like we come in, like in a clinic or a hospital, trying to solve our illnesses, trying to come out of there without the disease we came with, trying to be better than we went in with.

We need a Ramadan, that we come in the Masjid and we face the Qiblah and we say “Allahu Akbar” and we stand in qiyamah a long time until those diseases, that filth, that sickness, that hardness the heart goes away.

We need a Ramadan that reminds us of the Hell-fire.

We need a Ramadan that lets us known that we are servants of Allah tabarak wa ta’ala.

We need a Ramadan and it is clear. If there is any fear of Allah left in the hearts of ours and if there is any hope of Janah left in us, and if there is any desire to change and to be better and to be righteous and to come to the level of Ihsaan, to come to the level of a Mumim, to have taqwa, to fear Allah

… we need a Ramadan.

Zakat is one of the five pillars of Islam.

Zakat (alms) is the name of what a believer returns out of his or her wealth to the neediest of Muslims for the sake of the Almighty Allah. It is called Zakat because the word Zakat is from Zakaa which means, to increase, purify and bless.

The obligation is to give 2.5% of one’s wealth to those in need. Zakat is essentially an act of worship through which Muslims can purify their wealth, cleanse their souls and benefit themselves as well as others – it is a symbol of Islamic social justice.

The obligatory nature of Zakat is firmly established in the Qur’an, the Sunnah (or hadith), and the consensus of the companions and the Muslim scholars.

Allah states in Surah at-Taubah: “O ye who believe! there are indeed many among the priests and anchorites, who in Falsehood devour the substance of men and hinder (them) from the way of Allah. And there are those who bury gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah. announce unto them a most grievous penalty – On the Day when heat will be produced out of that (wealth) in the fire of Hell, and with it will be branded their foreheads, their flanks, and their backs, their flanks, and their backs.- “This is the (treasure) which ye buried for yourselves: taste ye, then, the (treasures) ye buried!”

(The Holy Qur’an 9:34-35).

Who should pay Zakat?

Every sane, adult Muslim who possesses equal to or more wealth than the Nisab for one lunar year is eligible to pay Zakat.“Nisab” is an Arabic word which means the minimum value of wealth that one must own to become eligible to pay Zakat; in its current monetary value is equal to 87.48grams of gold or 612.36grams of silver.

Zakat is not obligatory if the amount owned is less than this nisab.

How To Give Zakat?

Make a record of all money earned, either daily or monthly, which has reached the nisaab and remains in the treasury. The Zakat of that money would be due one year later on the same day the money was earned and reached nisaab. This means every month’s income must be set aside and assessed for Zakat and so will be the case for the rest of the months.

The best way is to set a day or a month, preferably Ramadan, for your annual Zakat return calendar, say Ramadan 1st. One year later on the same day of Ramadan, your Zakat is due and payable. Whatever is in the savings is due for Zakat, regardless of whether all the amount in the savings reaches a year or not. This method is the best because it is easy to assess, meets one’s obligation and relieve one’s conscience.

TYPES OF WEALTH ON WHICH ZAKAT IS IMPOSED:

Gold and silver, in any form.

Cash, bank notes, stocks, bonds etc.

Merchandise for business, equal to the value of Nisaab.

Live stock.

On income derived from rental business.

TYPES OF WEALTH ON WHICH ZAKAT IS NOT IMPOSED:

On any metals other than gold or silver.

Fixtures and fittings of a shop, car, trucks or any delivery vehicle etc., which is used in running business.

Diamonds, pearls, other precious or semi precious stones which are for personal use.

There is no Zakat on personal residence, household furniture, pots and pan, personal clothing, whether they are in use or not.

There is no Zakat on a person whose liabilities exceed or equal his assets.

Home Mortgage is not to be counted as personal liability for the Zakat purpose.

Who is eligible to receive it?

Knowing who qualifies as recipient of Zakat is an important aspect of Zakat collection in Islam. Fortunately, Allah (SWT) has been merciful to us in that He Himself spelled out the people eligible to receive Zakat.

In Surah Tawbah He stated:
“Alms are for the poor and the needy; and those employed to administer (the funds); for those whose hearts have been (recently) reconciled (to truth); for those in bondage and in debt; in the cause of Allah; and for the wayfarer: (thus is it) ordained by Allah, and Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.”

(Surah 9: Verse 60 )

People who are in complete poverty and have nothing.

People who have some wealth, but not enough to meet their basic needs.

The people who collect Zakat to distribute to the poor and needy.

People who are sympathetic towards Islam or wish to enter to Islam, and are needy.

Zakat may be used to free a person from slavery.

Zakat can be given to those who are in debt and unable to pay off their debt.

The people who work in God’s way and strive to give Dawah.

Travellers and/or wayfarers who are needy.

It is, however, permissible to give Zakat to a wife or family member, provided it is not part of their daily living expense money, but is needed to pay off a debt for one’s wife if she can not pay it. So is the case for one’s parents if they can not pay their debt.

PUNISHMENT FOR NOT GIVING ZAKAT:

Allah says in the Quran: “And there are those who hoard gold and silver and do not spend it in the way of Allah, announce to them a most grievous penalty (when) on the Day of Judgment heat will be produced out of that wealth in the fire of Hell. Then with it they will be branded on their forehead and their flanks and backs. (It will be said to them) This is the treasure which you hoarded for yourselves, taste then the treasure that you have been hoarding.”

(Al-Quran 9:34-35)

In Ramadan, when we want to build our spirituality, we’ve got to wage Jihad against our bad habits.

Try to stick to the Prophetic rule on eating: fill our stomachs with one-third food, one-third water and one-third breathing space, even in Ramadan.

Open your hearts and dig a little deeper in our wallets this year.Whatever you can give, it’s the intention that counts.

Memorizing the Quran often seems like a daunting task. But the key is doing it in small bites.Try to memorize new Surahs. Start off with a short, easy one. Once you’ve started, you’ll build momentum and may even want to memorize a longer one.

Try your best to head out to the mosque for Tarawih prayers. The community spirit is part of Ramadan’s blessings. Don’t miss it this year.

It’s hard not to shut our mouths off when someone upset’s us. Stop Swearing And Backbiting.

Strengthening ties with family members and keeping in touch with friends is part of our way of life and an act Allah is very pleased with.

After Iftar, instead of plopping yourself in front of the screen, go to Tarawih. The same goes for the television. The point is to try to give our full attention to spiritual elevation this month.

Even if you feel you’ve got absolutely no time, you can read a page of the Quran you open. The point is simply to connect with God through His evelation in the month of the Quran.

Go of the anger and pain this Ramadan and forgive those who have hurt you. Forgiving someone is great for the soul.

Keep away from debates and arguments.

Be nice to those around you, even if you don’t know you. Just smile to people.

Help someone across the road, carry the groceries for your neighbor.

Think outside of the box, help a couple to get married, help someone out of debt, buy translated Qurans for new converts.

Tie your yearly Zakat with Ramadan. Any money or gold that has been in your possession for a year has zakat which should be paid. It might be easier to tie your zakat with Ramadan because it is a memorable date.

Ask yourself those questions that need to be asked. Do an evaluation of where you are and where you are going. Let this evaluation lead you to feel happiness for the good you have done and remorse for the bad you have done.

Remember that Allah is watching during Ramadan and After not Only during Ramadan.

Idris is the third of the Prophets. He was the 5th generation of the Prophet Adam. He was born and raised in Babylon following the teachings and religion of Prophet Adam (pbuh) and his son Seth (pbuh). Then God made him a Prophet and Messenger.

Prophet Idris called the people to be good Muslims, following all the rules of the Religion revealed to him. He told them to perform the prayers and showed them how to pray. They were ordered to fast certain days every month. He called the people back to his forefathers religion, but only a few listened to him, while the majority turned away.

Idris was directed to migrate to Egypt and settle on the bank of the river Nile. He preached the religion of Allah among various tribes and admonished them to be good and civilized.

He was the first to warn people that a flood would come as a punishment (as it did come in the time of Noah).

God revealed 30 short booklets (suhuf) to Idris. God gave him the knowledge of Astronomy and Arithmetic. It is reported that he was the 1st to invent the basic form of writing.

Prophet Idris was friend of one of the angels of heaven. At the age of 365 years the angel friend took Idris up into the heavens and when they arrived in the fourth heaven, they met the Angel of Death. The Angel of Death said: Where is Idris because I have been commanded to end his life. Prohet Idris (pbuh) then stayed in the fourth heaven and died in the wings of his angel friend.

Some of his wise sayings,

“None can show better gratitude for Allah’s favors than he who shares them with others. Do not envy people for what they have as they will only enjoy it for a short while. He who indulges in excess will not benefit from it. The real joy of life is to have wisdom.”

“Happy is he who looks at his own deeds and appoints them as pleaders to his Lord.”

“Do not feel jealous of the prosperity of others.”

“He who has unlimited desires, is deprived of the wealth of contentment.”

“One should be sincere in acts of devotion.”

“It is an act of grave sin to take false oaths.”

“Being patient, while believing in God, leads one to victory. “

“He who controls his passions, is fortunate. Only a good act will be a living intercessor before Allah on the Day of Judgment.”

“One who is desirous of attaining perfection in knowledge, should have no concern with immoral acts.”

Sheth was the third son of the Prophet Adam (pbuh). When Sheth was born, his father, the Prophet Adam (pbuh), had attained the age of 130 years.

Sheth was born five years after the death of Habil. Prophet Adam (pbuh) was very sad that Habil was dead. But Allah, in great mercy and kindness, gave Prophet Adam another beloved son. Allah told Prophet Adam (pbuh) that he would have a son and from the decedents of this son would come Prophet Muhammad. This made Prophet Adam very happy. Allah’s mercy was so great to Prophet Adam that Allah made Sheth look like his father. Prophet Adam loved Sheth very much. Prophet Adam taught Sheth the hours of the day and night and told Sheth of a flood that was to come.

When Prophet Adam (pbuh) was on death bed, he appointed Sheth (pbuh) as his successor and advised his descendants to follow him and live peacefully in perfect harmony.

Sheth conveyed the message of Islam to the people, telling the people the correct belief in God and the way to perform acceptable worship. All the humans were Muslim at that time, but still God gave the Revelation to Seth, and he taught and reminded the people.

It is said that The Almighty revealed to him fifty small portions of the Scripture.

Seth received a new ruling from God, different from the time of Prophet Adam. This ruling was that it is forbidden for the brother to marry his sister, whether she is his twin sister, or his sister who is not his twin.

He tried to guide his followers on the right path, but some of them were strayed by the Satan. They began to worship Satan’s self-made portrait. Prophet Sheth (pbuh) passed away at the age of 912 years.

Allah made the mountains, the seas and all the animals. He made the heavens, the stars, the sun and the moon. And he made the angels. The angels were like Allah’s servants and did everything He ordered. Then Allah decided to make a man. He called this first man Adam.

Allah sent Gabriel onto the earth to get Him clay therefrom. The earth said: “I seek refuge in Allah from your decreasing my quantity or disfiguring me.” So Gabriel returned and did not take anything. He said: “My Lord, the land sought refuge in You and it granted.” So Allah sent Michael and he too said to Allah what Gabriel has said before him. Then Allah sent the Angel of Death, and the land sought refuge in Allah, the angel said: “I also seek refuge with Allah from returning without carrying out His command.” So he took clay from the face of the earth and mixed it. He did not take from one particular place, but rather he took white, red, and black clay from different places.

Allah soaked the clay till it became sticky. Then Allah said to the angels: “Truly, I am going to create man from clay. So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him.”

Allah created Adam from dust after He mixed the clay and left him for some time until it became sticky mud, making him 60 cubits(This is 30 meter) tall. When He created him, He said to him, “Go and greet that group of angels.”So, Adam said (to the angels), As-Salamu Alaikum (i.e. Peace be upon you). The angels said, “As-salamu Alaika WA Rahmatul-lahi” (i.e. Peace and Allah’s Mercy be upon you). People have been decreasing in stature since Adam’s creation.

Allah breathed His spirit into Adam and when it reached his head Adam sneezed. The angels said: “Say all praise belongs to Allah.” Adam repeated: “All praise belongs to Allah.”

And then: The angels prostrated themselves all of them together. Except Iblis, he refused to be among the prostrators. He was a jinn(demons), and as such he was supposed to be inferior to the angels.

Iblis tried in vain to justify his refusal: “Shall I prostrate to one whom You created from clay?” Iblis said: “If You give me respite (keep me alive) to the Day of Resurrection, I will surely seize and mislead his offspring (by sending them astray) all but a few!”

Allah knew that Iblis was not going to obey Him in prostrating before Adam. Allah could have totally annihilated him. Yet, Allah gives His commissioned creatures absolute freedom even to the extent that they can refuse Allah the Almighty’s commands. He grants them the freedom of denial, disobedience, and even disagreement with Him.

Adam sometimes talked to the angels, but they were preoccupied with worshiping Almighty Allah. Therefore Adam, felt lonely. One day he slept and when he awoke he found near his head, a woman gazing at his face with beautiful tender eyes whom Allah had created from his ribs.

Adam and Hawa were admitted to Paradise and there they lived the dream of all human beings. Allah permitted them to approach and enjoy everything except one tree, that might have been the Tree of Pain or the Tree of Knowledge. Allah forbade them they were give abode in Paradise.

Adam was however a human being and man tends to forget. His heart changes and his will weakens.Iblis started to whisper to him day after day “Shall I guide you to the tree of Immortality and the Eternal Kingdom?”

Years went by, and Adam and Hawa were preoccupied with thoughts of that tree. Then one day they decided to eat of its fruit. They forgot that Allah had warned them not to approach it and that Iblis was their sworn enemy. Adam stretched out his hand, picked one of the fruits and offered it to Hawa. They both ate of the forbidden tree.

Allah the Almighty addressed Adam: “Did I not forbid you that tree and tell you: Verily Satan is an open enemy unto you?”

“Get down, one of you an enemy to the other (Adam, Hawa, and Satan etc). On earth will be a dwelling place for you and an enjoyment, for a time.” He said: “Therein you shall live and therein you shall die, and from it you shall be brought out (resurrected).”

They left Paradise and descended upon the earth. On earth he had to face conflict and struggle. He also had to toil to sustain himself.

Adam also understood that Allah punishes disobedience and that the way of Paradise has to be through submission to the will of Allah. And he learned from Allah Almighty to ask for forgiveness.Allah accepted Adam’s repentance and forgave him. He then sent him to the earth as His first messenger.

The pinnacle of earthly bliss was reached when Adam and Hawa witnessed the birth of their 1st children, a set of twins. Adam was a devoted father and Hawa a contented mother. The twins were Qabil and his sister. Later Hawa gave birth to a second set of twins, Habil and his sister.

Qabil tilled the land while Habil raised cattle. The time arrived when the two young men desired life partners. This was part of Allah’s plan for mankind, to multiply and form nations with different cultures and colors. Allah told Adam that he should marry each son to the twin sister of the other. Adam instructed his children according to Allah’s command, but Qabil was displeased with the partner chosen for him, for Habil’s twin sister was not as beautiful as his own.

It appears that since the beginning of time, physical beauty has been a factor in the attraction between man and women. This attraction caused Qabil to envy his brother Habil. He rebelled against Allah’s command by refusing to accept his father’s advice. Qabil threatened his brother. “I will kill you! I refuse to see you happy while I remain unhappy!”Habil did not fear his brother’s threats, but neither did he want his
brother to be hurt, Allah had blessed Habil with purity and compassion.

Qabil struck his brother with a stone killing him instantly. This was the 1st death and the 1st criminal act committed by man on earth.

Qabil did not know what to do with his brother’s corpse. Allah sent two ravens that began fighting, causing the death of one. The victorious bird used its beak and claws to dig a hole in the ground, rolled its victim into it and covered it with sand.Witnessing this, Qabil was overcome with shame and remorse. “Woe unto me!” he exclaimed. “I was unable to do what this raven has done, that is to hide my brother’s
corpse.” Qabil then buried his brother. This was also the 1st burial of man.

Adam was utterly grief stricken by the loss of his two sons. One was dead, the other was won over by the devil.

When Adam’s death was near the angels entered his room and surrounded him. When he recognized the Angel of Death among them, his heart smiled peacefully.Angels took his soul, embalmed and wrapped him, dug the grave and laid him in it. They prayed on him and put him in his grave, saying: ‘O Children of Adam, this is your tradition at the time of death.”"

Before his death Adam reassured his children that Allah would not leave man alone on the earth, but would sent His prophets to guide them.

After Adam’s death, his South Seth (Shiith) took over the responsibilities of prophethood, Allah sent down one hundred and four psalms, of which fifty were sent down to Seth.” When the time of his death came Seth’s son Anoush succeeded him.

Science clearly indicates that, at one point in time, the whole universe was nothing but a cloud of ‘smoke’, the result of what is known today as the ‘Big Bang’.This is one of the undisputed principles of modern cosmology.

God said in the Quran:

Then He turned to the heavens when it was smoke.
(41:11)

As the whole universe was created from same smoke,we conclude that the earth and the heavens were one connected entity. Then out of this homogeneous ‘smoke’, they formed and separated from each other.

God said in the Quran:

Do not the disbelievers realise that the heavens and earth were one connected entity,
then We split them asunder, and We made from water every living thing?
(21:31-34)

The Universe is expanding at an ever increasing rate say astronomers using NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope.

God said in the Quran:

The heavens, We have built them with power. And verily, We are expanding it
(51:47)

According to the scientists Water vaporizes from the oceans and rivers forming tiny clouds. The small clouds join together and the updrafts within the larger cloud increase. The cloud body stretches into cooler regions of the atmosphere where drops of water and hail formulate and begin to grow larger and larger. When these drops of water and hail become too heavy for the updrafts to support them, they begin to fall from the cloud as rain, hail, etc.

God said in the Quran:

Have you not seen how God makes the clouds move gently, then joins them together, then
makes them into a stack, and then you see the rain come out of it.
(24:43)

Scientists believe life originated in an aquatic environment full of inorganic compounds, and when struck by high amounts of energy(lightning) this produced organic compounds, the first basic building blocks of life.

God said in the Quran:

We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?
(21:30)

In the peaceful conditions of Medina Muslims had religious freedom. They had to figure out how to summon the Muslims to the Mosque.

The jews summoned their congregations to the temple by blowing trumpets, the Christians by striking gongs. Mahummad(peace be upon him) felt that human voice could better communicate the emotion and inspiration which should be dedicated to the solemnity of the occasion.

When this problem was discussed, one day Abd Allah b. Zayd came to Holy Prophet and related to him a dream in which some one had taught him the way of calling people to prayer. It was:

Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar!

Ash hadu Al-la-Ilaha il Lallah

Ash hadu Al-la-Ilaha il Lallah

Ash hadu anna Muhammadar Rasulullah

Ash hadu anna Muhammadar Rasulullah

Hayya ‘alas-salah

Hayya ‘alas-salah

Hayya ‘alal-falah

Hayya ‘alal-falah

Allahu-Akbar Allahu-Akbar La-ilaha il-Lallah.

i.e.

(Allah is Most Great! Allah is Most Great! Allah is Most Great! Allah is Most Great!

I bear witness there is none worthy of worship except Allah.

I bear witness there is none worthy of worship except Allah.

I bear witness that Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah.

I bear witness that Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah.

Come to prayer.

Come to prayer.

Come to success.

Come to success.

Allah is Most Great! Allah is Most Great! There is none worshipable but Allah.)

The Holy Prophet Said “Your vision, by grace of God, is true. Go to Bilal and communicate it to him so that he should call to prayer accordingly.” And ordered that before every prayer a man should repeat these words with a loud voice standing on a high place so that Muslims should know that the hour for prayer had come.

15th Night of Shaban (Shab-e-Barat) is one of the blessed nights in the Islamic calender, which is next to Lailatul Qadir (27th night of Ramadaan) in auspiciousness.

On this night,Allah, the almighty takes the account of His creation and decides the fate of all beings for the coming year taking into account their past deeds.

Prophet Noah called his people to return to the worship of the One True God. He preached the message of Islam among his people for nine hundred years. But in those days when the kuffar passed away, they would instruct their children not to believe in Prophet Noah. In this manner, every generation exhorted the next to commit kufr against Allah.

Allah decided he had to wash the earth clean of humanity’s prevailing sinful nature. Allah then revealed to Prophet Noah that none of his people was going to embrace Islam, except those that already have done. So he was commanded to build a ship.As commanded, Prophet Noah now set upon the task of building the Ark with the help of the small group of believers.

The ship was built according to exact measurements Allah provided him. He built it from teak wood and was coated with a layer of tar. The ship was about 138 metres in length, 23 metres wide, and 14 metres high. It had three decks. The lower deck was for animals, the middle for human beings, and the top deck for birds. It also had a flat roof, and several windows and a door on the side.It took him fifty years to build this ship.

Alla ordered Noah that when he saw a sign to start loading the ark. The sign was seeing water flowing out of an oven made of stones.

It started to rain, and then Noah wife salam noticed water flowing out of the clay-oven. The flood started on 10th Rajab, which was the day they all embarked on the ship of Noah. As a result God made the beasts gathered near the ark.Prophet Noah took a male and female pair of each kind of animal. The believers also went on the ark. The sea rose quickly and covered even the highest mountains – all drowned except for those in the Ark. After forty days Allah commanded the waters to recede and the great ship came to rest “on the mountains El Judi”.

Who could be more conscious than Muhammad(peace be upon him) of the universal nature of the teachings of Islam and the responsibilities that fell on the Prophet for spreading its message in the whole world.

The God of Islam is Rass al’-Aalmin, the Lord of the universe: He is the Rabb al-nas, Malik al-nas, Ilah al-nas-, the Lord, the King and God of men: not only of Muslim, Jews or Christians, alone but the Lord of all the creation ; the Creator and Sustainer of all man kind, and not a tribal deity who is pre-occupied with the destinies of one particular tribe or nation, adjusting all the people to the requirements of a chosen few.

Just as God is the Lord of the whole universe, similarly His last Prophet(peace be upon him) is the Mercy for all the worlds:

We have not sent thee save as a mercy to all the created beings.

(xxi: 107)

So is the case with the religion that has preached. Its message is universal and transcends all barriers of caste and color and those created by geography:

Blessed is He who hath sent down al-Furqan upon His servant, that he maybe a warner unto all created beings.

It is significant that while at mecca , the Holy Prophet(may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to pray with his face turned to holy mosque at Jerusalem, but when he came to Medena, he was directed by Divine revelation to turn his face to the Ka’bah as his qiblah.

This was a change of far-reaching importance, and it had different reactions in different circles. It strengthened the loyalty of the Muslims to Islam and the Holy Prophet. They expressed their implicit faith in Muhammed( peace be upon him) as the recipient of Divine revelation and acepted this change most willingly.

The Holy Qur’an refers,
And We appointed not the quibla, which you have had, but that We mightdistinguish him who follows the Apostle from him who turns back upon his heels, and this was surely hard except for those Allah has guided aright.

(ii: 143)

The change of direction had a deeper significance than might appear at first sight. It established Ka’bah at Mecca as a religious center for all Muslims, just as from time immemorial it had been a place of pilgrimage for all the tribes of Arabia.

Sha’ban is the month before the blessed month of Ramadan. There are many practices amongst Muslims related to the month of Shaaban that are not supported by any authentic hadith of Prophet(s) . This post summarizes some of those misconceptions of Shaban.

Here is an explanation of some of the misconceptions ,

Fasting on 15th of Shaban is a deed of great reward.

The reality, however, is that the hadith literature lacks the evidence of any authentic ahadith related to this topic.
- Fasting ONLY on 15th of Shabaan is an innovation and not according to the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Thus should be totally avoided. Fasting frequently in Shabaan was the Sunnah of Rasool Allah However; Rasool prohibited his ummah from fasting after 15th of Shabaan due to fear of becoming too weak to be able to fast in Ramadan.

Rasool Allah Sallaalahu alayhe Wasallam said :
“When half of shaban has passed, do not fast”
(Abu Dawood Bab 12: Hadith 2337- Classed Hasan Sahih by Albani)

Fasting on the last day of Shaaban is not allowed

There are a number of ahadith and scholarly opinions on this issue some of which are as follows:

Al-Haafiz ibn Hajar said: “It was understood from this that it is haraam to fast the day of doubt, because the Sahaabah would not say such a thing based on personal opinion, so a report such as this has the same status as a marfoo’ hadeeth.

The Prophet (S) said: “Do not anticipate Ramadaan by fasting one or two days before it begins, but if a man habitually fasts, then let him fast.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1914; Muslim, 1082. So if a person is used to fasting on Mondays, for example, and that coincides with the last day of Sha’baan, then it is permissible for him to observe that as a voluntary fast and it is not forbidden for him to do so.

The scholars have stated concerning the day of doubt, “The Sunnah indicates that it is haraam to fast this day (last day of Shaaban).” (Fataawa al-Lajnah, 10/117).

Shab e Baraat i.e. the 15th of Shabaan is a Special Night for prayers in Islam.

The middle of the month of Shaaban should not be singled out for special worship. There is no such thing as Shab e Baraat. Word Shab e Baraat never appears in the Quran or Hadith. Shab e Baraat is infact NOT an Arabic Word. In this context, the scholars have stated the following:

… if a person wants to pray qiyaam on this night as he does on other nights – without doing anything extra or singling this night out for anything – then that is fine. The same applies if he fasts the day of the fifteenth of Shaaban because it happens to be one of the ayyaam al-beed, along with the fourteenth and thirteenth of the month, or because it happens to be a Monday or Thursday. If the fifteenth (of Shaaban ) coincides with a Monday or Thursday, there is nothing wrong with that (fasting on that day), so long as he is not seeking extra reward that has not been proven (in the saheeh hadith texts).” (islamqa.info)

On this blessed night Allah Tala descends down to forgive people

Allah Tala descends down EVERY night to forgive the people who repent.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said,
“When it is the last third of the night, our Lord, the Blessed, the Superior, descends every night to the heaven of the world and says, ‘Is there anyone who invokes Me (demand anything from Me), that I may respond to his invocation; Is there anyone who asks Me for something that I may give (it to) him; Is there anyone who asks My forgiveness that I may forgive him?’“
[Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 75, Number 333]

This is the blessed night on which the taqdeer is decided.

Who will live…who will die. Who will get how much rizq. The following verses of the Quran are presented as evidence stating that this verse is talking about a blessed night on which everything is decreed and that night is 15th of Shaban.

Veriy We Sent it down on a blessed night Verily, We are ever warning. There in is decreed every matter of ordainments. As a Command from Us. Verily, We are ever sending, (As) a Mercy from your Lord. Verily! He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.
[Surah Dukhaan Chapter 44 Verse 4]

The verse is being misquoted. This Verse is about a Night in Ramadan NOT Shab e Baraat. The verse is talking about revelation of Quran on a blessed Night. Read the first 2 ayats of Surah Dukhaan again!

Indeed we sent IT (i.e. The Quran) on a blessed Night (Lailtul Qadr in Ramadan) Allah has informed us in Surah Baqarah that the Quran was revealed in the month of Ramadan.
The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur’an. (Surah Al Baqarah. Chapter 2:185)

The Quran and Hadith shares equal rights of all men and women. Both have the right to be educated and to have the freedom of speech, choice and expressions. Today in the western world many people do not think positively about Islam. The western media has portrayed the image of Muslim women very badly. They claim that Islam does not allow the right of women to be educated or to work.

They claim that in Islam, women are treated as servants, but in reality, this is all false. Extremist groups such as Al Qaeda and Taliban have created such bad image of Islamic women. When they conquered Afghanistan, Iraq and upper areas of Pakistan, they destroyed all girls’ schools, colleges and universities.

They banned educated women working and banned them going out of the house without a male Mahram. In the Quran, it is mentioned clearly that men and women are equal, the prophet Muhammad Sallalaho Alayhi Wasalam has marked his words that men and women have equal rights to be educated and to have a job.

To erase this misconception of Muslim women being uneducated, this article will highlight some famous Muslim women in the history of the world. Way back in history in Prophet Muhammad Sallalaho Alayhi Wasalam’s time the prominent women were Ume-e-Aiman, Um-al-Fadl, Asma bint-e-Abibakr, Urwa, Asma bint-e-Umais, Ash-Shifa bint-e-Abdullah and Fatima bint-e-Qais.

The female warriors were Khwala bint al Azwar, Azda bint al Haris, Nusaibah bin Ka’ab, Umaimah bint-e-Qiyas,. Women scholars were Hazrat Ayesha, Asma binte-Abi Bakar, Zainab bint-e Abdullah, Hafsah bint-e-Umar and many more. Famous Muslim architects of those times were Safiyah, Banfsha bint Abdullah, Mariam bin Shams, and Al Udar al Kareema. Fatima al Fihri was the Muslim woman who founded the first university in the world, which is still present in Morocco, called University of Al Karaouine.

Razia Sultana ruled Delhi from 1236 to 1239, Shajarat ad-Durr ruled Egypt from 1250 to 1257. Benazir Bhutto was the first female prime Minister in the whole Asia region, and the first Muslim woman to be the Prime Minister. Dr. Qanta Ahmed is one of the best doctors known in the USA. Rabia Z is one of the most known Muslim Fashion designers, even among the western fashion world. She is known for her designs in the modest clothing.

Atife Jahjaga is the world’s youngest female president of Kosovo. Nana Asma’u was the princess of Nigeria, she was a poet and a teacher, and she worked for women to acquire education. Laleh Bakhtiar is an American woman, the first women to translate the Quran into English language. Anousheh Ansari is an American, the first female women to be in space. Many other famous Muslim women are great doctors, businessperson, politicians, designers, actors and singers. This shows that Muslim women are educated and they do have all the rights almost equal to those rights of a man.

The Nakoula Basseley anti Islam movie is designed to stir trouble, both for Muslims and others who do not agree. It could be called a piece of poison, designed for inflaming hot heads against the Muslim world, and deserves to be treated with contempt for what it sets out to do.

A demonstrator holds a placard during a protest against the film ‘Innocence of Muslims’ in Jakarta, on September 14, 2012. More than 350 Muslim fundamentalists and their supporters staged an anti-US demonstration in Jakarta Friday, spewing anger at America over an anti-Islam film (BAY ISMOYO/AFP/Getty Images)

It is a hoax movie which deliberately goes completely against Islam and our last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (P.B.U.H). The movie titled as Innocence of Muslims created a fine storm in the youth of the Muslim world. The reaction towards disrespect of Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) by the Muslims was a completely disastrous situation. It resulted in the killing of Americans in Libya, as the Americans were killed in Libya by a Muslim group as a reaction to the anti American sentiment.

Part of the aftermath of this film has resulted in the killing of foreigners in Libya - Muslims

Including four Americans and J. Christopher, the American Ambassador. An extremist Muslim group was involved in attacking the embassy for United States of America. They burned down the building of embassy and opened fire on the American staff in embassy in Libya. According to the resources the malicious video had erroneous and evil low level stuff. The film was made in an attempt to ridicule the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H).

This is yet another blasphemous attack on Muslims and their faith or beliefs. Apropos, the blasphemy law prohibits anyone to spread hate against any religions or be a cause of grief and disrupt between the followers of any religion. However, some the extremist groups of Muslims protested and gave strong reactions against the makers of the movie and actors and whatever that was being shown in the name movie or entertainment.

Their intolerance is obvious and they have started protesting – Muslims

These Muslims, although have all rights to protest and defend their beliefs and religion are accused of spreading terrorism in the region. United States of America protests against the killing of innocent Americans in Libya but at the same time have failed to ban or put an end to such activities by extremist anti Islam groups in America.

Innocence of Muslims by Nakoula Basseley was released on 9th September 2012. With the release of this movie Muslims around the world started showing their reaction and anger. Muslims in Libya burnt American Embassy and killed four Americans. Americans were behind the floating of this anti Islamic movie. Morally and ethically it is very wrong to target a certain religion and its followers. The video has been made with intention to spread hatred for Muslims and Islam. Islam is the religion of peace and does not permit such things and instructs its followers to respect other religions and all the prophets including Jesus and Moses.

In reaction to this disrespectful act and attack on beliefs the Muslim countries have blocked all those websites from their internet servers where this anti Islam movie called Innocence of Muslims was floated in reaction, and probably quite rightly so, to stop any more hatred and distrust being born and to try to stem the disrespect shown towards their religion.

Muslims have boycotted all American brands and chain stores available in their respective countries, again a punishment for innocent people on both sides of the debate. We cannot call it ignorance of Muslims now. They reacted dramatically at the launch of this low quality, immoral and low ethical movie erroneously, when ignoring it would have been a far greater punishment to the makers. Anger, hatred and adversity towards Americans should not be thought of as a symbol of love and respect towards their Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (P.B.U.H).

This was a reaction in result of perceived blasphemy. Muslims love their Allah Almighty and His last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (P.B.U.H). Disrespect and making fun of any religion by anyone cannot be tolerated and ignored, but there are better ways to do this instead of bloodshed.

When we believe in the oneness of Allah Subhana Wa Tallah and lead our life according to the guidelines that Allah Subhana Wa Tallah has provided through Prophet Muhammad (P.B,U.H), we truly belong and gain position in the list of most favorite peoples of Allah Subhana Wa Tallah. The truthiness of beliefs comes from the inner satisfaction of a person.

A person’s fulfillment of inner contentment arrives from the peaceful actions, love and care for humanity. If you believe that you are surrounded by the protective shield of Allah Subhana Wa Tallah’s blessings, all the worries regarding the norms of living would vanish at once and the only thing that would remain is going to be the peaceful environment and calm state of mind.

When we start believing in the preaching of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) and commence our lives on those enlightened rules first, we gain the infinite blessings of Allah Subhana Wa Tallah and secondly, in this world we find ourselves more peacefully stabled than others. To express our gratitude towards Allah Subhana Wa Tallah in our daily living, the only set of words and the act that can show Allah Subhana Wa Tallah’s true consideration is dhikr or prayers including the recitation and learning of Quran e Majeed and Sunnah

Whenever you perform your routine tasks always believe that there is Allah Subhana Wa Tallah constantly watching you. By having this faith, you are actually doing yourself a favor and with this set of mind would come the assuring feelings of love and affection towards Allah Subhana Wa Tallah, which would bring contentment.

Leave your every decision on Allah Subhana Wa Tallah’s will and see how your every problem would sort out quickly. You would have never imagined that so far. In order to live successfully here and here after, humans have to surpass numerous hindrances that are lying in the path of life at every stop. But with strong determination and faith on Allah Subhana Wa Tallah can ease down a person’s difficult time. It will help in choosing the best option and facing challenges of life.

Follow and go through the records or history of Hazrat Muhammad (P.B.U.H) and follow Him (P.B.U.H.) in the same way, you will never fall on the ground and if you will then you will have strength to stand up again. In Holy Quran, Allah Subhana Wa Tallah has mentioned clearly that “A person who wants to fetch my blessings must obey Muhammad (P.B.U.H) fully because he has done the duty that has been given him by me (Allah)”.

Allah Subhana Wa Tallah says that “Your feeling of love towards Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) will automatically show love toward me (Allah)”. In short, strong implementation of Islamic values in true means can get you connected with Allah’s blessings. This is the only way to make the pathway of life here and hereafter easier. And, you can achieve all this by doing dhikr of Allah Subhana Wa Tallah or in remembrance of God.

Magic and sorcery have been seen by true Islams as advice by devils or demons and no one should indulge in any of this type of future-telling or advice. Allah and the Prophet Muhammad are the only ones who have true access to this knowledge and so they are the only ones who should be consulted on it. Allah has the answers to every problem and so should be the one to be consulted for any desire or trouble, not anyone else. However, this is not to say that magic shows are disallowed in Muslim countries, if they can prove they are only for entertainment and not for anything else.

The Prophet Abu Hurairah warned people against seven things in the world, of which magic was one of them. Whatever people consult or whomever they visit to learn these things is considered a rejection of Allah in a very bad sense, and punishment will strike these misguided people. Even the lighter forms of future-telling such as reading the stars for a person or telling their life from their palms is also forbidden. Anyone who indulges themselves with magic by visiting a witch or a soothsayer is punished by Allah by having his or her prayers ignored for forty days.

Even those who believe in it but do not practice magic are considered sinners. Magic is thought to be concerned with powers given by Satan, even though many practitioners of magic try not to bring harm to others by thoughts, deeds or other means. There is always the way down into the forbidden arts, which are considered the blackest imaginable. Many acts of absolute atrocity are committed against men, women and children and animals in the guise of magic and the lunatics who strive to make it acceptable to the world.

Magic, simple or complex, is simply seen as haraam or forbidden. It is a temptation to Man to ask of others rather than Allah for answers, future-seeing and other things, including temptation into lust, eating wrongly, consuming alcohol, all of which are forbidden in the Muslim faith. Some practitioners of the dark arts desecrate graves, eat pork and drink blood, all very wrong occupations to a Muslim and attributed to Satan, as well they should be in any country.

To a Muslim, competence in magic can only be attributed to Satan, not Allah, and, as such, it is thought the person may obtain greater powers than Allah. To a true believer this cannot be, as the only Power is Allah, and He has not given permission for this to be so. Many things are attributed to witches, warlocks and others in a Muslim country, and they will be lucky to escape with their lives if they are uncovered. Allah’s punishment is not usually very pleasant for any practitioner of the so-called dark arts.

Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is a great reformer, an aficionado, a devotee and a noble preacher of Islam. He has been working for the welfare of Islam for the past many years. He is renowned for his work. He has somehow succeeded in bringing to the bottom line the misconceptions about Islam in the western world. He has emerged as one of the most conscientious and diligent parson. He holds the credit for almost 1000 books. These books are available in different languages e.g. English, Arabic, Urdu, etc. Some of his distinguished and acclaimed books include The Glorious Qur’an English Translation, Fatwa on Terrorism and Suicide Bombings, Mawlid al-Nabi, Beseeching for Help, Islamic Concept of Intermediation, etc.

Around 425 of his books are on paper and published while the remaining 575 books are going through the procedure of being in the hardcopy. His books are so acclaimed that they have been translated in to different languages. Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri’s resurrecting, revitalizing, amending and reconstructive labours and harmony dynamics abide notable and significant connotation and embrace a consummate spot in promoting the grounds of world peace and human rights, metastasizing the factual Islamic assurance and belief and propagating portentous scrutiny exertion and discoursing the ideas of the Quran and Sunnah. Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri laid the foundation of a Sufism-based establishment Minhaj-ul-Quran International and used up the next decade mounting it countrywide and globally.

Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has done prestigious work about the existence and the livelihood of Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W). His work is beautiful and alluring. The way has thrown light on the slightest events from the life of the greatest Reformer of mankind is just the exhibition of his talent and competency. He actually makes all his readers worship and adore the subject again and again. His speeches on terrorism depict a new face of Islam to the western world, the one they praise. While his lectures he quotes references from different books which makes his lectures even more effectual.

Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri delivered a sermon titled as “Islam on Peace, Integration and Human Rights” in Manchester. Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri disagrees that terrorists and traitors have strayed and trespassed from the right, canonical wisdom of Islam and their defiant and mutinous fortitude of brutality, aggression and spiritual radicalism and fanaticism is a permanence of the Khawarij. Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri portrays intimidation as an “ideological contagion “Suicide assaults are strictly prohibited in Islam, these activities and conducts are un-Islamic, the massacre and killing of innocent mankind in any creed, conviction or kingdom, and violence in all its demonstrations, are thoroughly in negation with the tradition of Islam.” Last but not the least Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has the right ability to speak to the heart and souls of his listeners, he conveys them the right and factual message and preaching of Islam.

Wet dreams are accepted as part of a male’s growing into maturity, but little is talked about of this natural occurrence in a young woman. Both sets of the genders mirror each other in most things, so why should this be any different? As the prophet has said, Allah has made a carbon copy of each sex internally, so what happens in one body will happen in the other.

Female ejaculation in Islam is seen to be a part of the natural evolving of the body, leading into puberty. It can occur around the time of the development of breasts and hair under the armpits and in the genital region. This can be as early as eight, or it may delay until the female child is over ten. Unless there is something abnormal, this is simply a part of growing into maturity and becoming ready for potential child-bearing. Some corruption is responsible for the emphasis on sex; therefore anything that seems out-of-the-ordinary is made out to be different, although it has existed since Man was created. Another reason for the lack of information is that many lecturers are male and women can be very shy about discussing their concerns about this phenomenon with them, including their doctor.

If a person experiences one of these wet dreams during genuine sleep, then it is perfectly natural and no blame can be placed on the person concerned. Although a female’s vagina is always moist due to normal secretions, a female ejaculation, like the man’s, increases this moisture and is usually a sign that this has occurred. Although it may not be as much as the male’s, it is usually accompanied by erotic dreams or feelings and often culminates in a feeling of satisfaction.

If this has occurred then the person should cleanse themselves by washing or ghusal, as the prophet advised. As the person grows in maturity and control of their body, it is often possible to control these urges, but, as they occur during sleep, most people cannot. Many people wake just before ejaculation, with a vague memory of fullness in the genital area, but cannot recall any reason for it being so. In puberty, it is simply a release from sexual dreams.

Umm Salamah said: “Umm Sulaym came to the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu alihi wasalam, and said, “O Messenger of Allah, Allah is not too shy to tell us the truth. Does a woman have to do ghusl if she has a wet dream?

” The Prophet said: “Yes, if she sees water (a discharge).” Umm Salamah covered her face and said, “O Messenger of Allah, can a woman have an erotic dream?”He said, “Yes, may your hands be rubbed with dust. How else would her child resemble her?” (Bukhari)

It is thought to be a very wise parent, preferably the mother, who discusses this symptom with her daughter, before she reaches the age of puberty. Otherwise she will almost certainly be given quite the wrong idea from her classmates or even a teacher who is not comfortable with the topic. Most women are not comfortable with talking about the subject either, but it is a natural part of life and growing, and if she reflects, she may remember this happening in her early life also, so there really should be no embarrassment in talking to your daughter about it.

Marriage in Islam is of huge importance. It is a sacred agreement between a man and a woman to be together in all times. The wed lock (Nikkah) allows the man and the woman to be together and grants this relationship a social, cultural, legal as well as religious/ holy permission to exist.

A typical Islamic marriage, one in which Islamic rules are being observed, is a symbol of love and unity. Islam prohibits dowry being obtained from the parents of the bride. The man is responsible for all the expenses. Islamic wedding parties are supposed to be attended by close family members and friends of the boy and the girl. This ceremony is supposed to be a simple one instead of being very pompous or elaborate.

Parents of the girl are to give only the essentials to their daughter. Hence it puts no economic or social pressure on them. This is different to Western traditions, where the bride’s parents are supposed to provide her with a dowry, as well as pay for the wedding.

Islam gives equal rights to man and woman. A woman has the right to file a divorce case under Islamic laws. Islam gives ultimate freedom to women by declaring that if a woman does not like her husband for some reason, she can get a divorce without further delay. A man is entitled to the same consideration.

A Muslim man is responsible for earning for the household. He is bound by Islamic law to keep his wife happy and comfortable otherwise the woman has the right to leave him. Again this varies greatly from the Westerner, who technically has to provide for the woman, but all too often does not. The Islamic system also propagates a separate family setup in which husband and wife are allowed to have personal privacy. In the Islam world, the husband has to be just in his relationship with his woman. This is despite the fact that Islam allows the man to marry four times but he must seek the first woman’s permission for it. It is allowed only if the man is capable of being just to all of them. In the Western world, this is forbidden and punishable in a court-of-law if the law of monogamy is broken.

Giving man and woman equal rights and conferring equal duties shows that Islam wants a house to be an institute where living together is not a compulsion. Living together should arise out of love and not be a compromise. Islam believes in love and pursues this aim in every walk of life with ultimate determination.

Are you looking for a Muslim’s guide to student loans in the U.S? There are many charitable organizations in U.S who have been providing interest free student loans for undergraduate as well as graduate students over several years.

You may also look for scholarships for Muslims students if there is any in your selected school or college. These scholarships come in different sizes based on your field of study, ethnicity, financial need, extracurricular involvement, academic merit and so on. But these scholarships will require your effort in terms of essays as well as applications. But you won’t be afraid to give such effort if you really want to avoid interest on loans and completing your study with no worries. The most important thing about scholarship is that you will never be asked to pay it back.

Now, how to find these scholarships? First of all, you will have to make a good research on Muslims organizations in the USA who provide student loans for Muslim students based on different fields of studies. Besides this, you will find many websites as well as books online which you can look up.

You may also request your relatives or parents for asking their employers about scholarships if they offer any because there are many organizations in the USA who are used to giving student loans based on merit as well as field of study. You may also look at local organizations such as the rotary club for scholarship or interest free student loan whatever they offer. There are also many organizations that help students by giving scholarship or financial aid in return for volunteer work. You may also look at those organizations.

However, it is not so easy to get a scholarship. Careful planning is the most important thing in proving your financial need as well as getting scholarship at the University or college. Before applying for a financial aid you should make an estimate on how much money, do you need to complete your course? You can get an idea about the total tuition fees by looking at the application information as well as the catalogs provided by your selected university or college.

However, about tuition fees you should always remember that the tuition fees of private universities is not same as the public universities. Though the private universities are more expensive than the public universities, but sometimes you will not get any scholarship in the state (public) university as they don’t offer scholarship where in some private universities you may have scholarship as those institutes offer scholarships based on financial need as well as merit. However, read the terms and conditions carefully before applying for a student loan and get your desired financial help successfully.

Today most of the high school boys and girls have interested to participate in the prom function, which would be conducted at the last day of school or college years. Even though these prom nights would be more entertaining one, it would be better for the students to get away from those nights. It would be one of the best ways to show your devotion towards Allah.

When you have gone through the Prom nights to enjoy with your friends, it would probably make you get with the hormonally-repressed thing. Because of this reason it has become as necessary for you to avoid prom nights in order to get rid from huge sin. It is even better to avoid the prom date proposal that you have got from girls.

How to avoid prom dates?

If you don’t want to go with the prom dates and still there are many proposals from girls for prom dates, it has become as necessary for you to follow the following things in order to get rid from that.

Don’t groom your beardSince most of the girls would get attracted because of the beard that has been maintained in good way, it would be better for you to stop grooming beard. You should stop to trim, shape and wash the beard for three months or for a long time. This would probably make your face to be hairy one and hence no one will propose to you for prom dates

Avoid using deodorant
Another important thing that would attract most of the girls to ask you for prom date would be the excellent deodorant. It would be better for you to avoid using the deodorant, in order to avoid prom dates. You can go for jogging half an hour in the morning and then go to school or college without changing your dress. This would probably be helpful for no one to ask you to date in future

Pretend as you are married
Wearing a fake ring to pretend you as married would be one of the anti-prom date techniques that work forever. If any girl asked you about your wife just tell her as that she is so pretty than they are and also more good things about your imaginary wife. This would probably make a girl to get away from asking you for prom dates. But you should have to be very careful. Since, you have imagined about your wife for a long time this would probably make you stop marrying real girl.

If you have followed out all these techniques you would probably get rid from prom date’s proposals. These are all the techniques for boys.

Compare to boys, girls would get more prom date proposals and the things that they have to follow for avoiding prom dates are as follows:

Wear a fake beard
Even though this is more funny way, it would probably make you avoid prom date proposals

Bring your dad to school
This would make most of the boys to get scare about your dad and hence no proposals would be in future

Wear a scary Niqab
Rather than wearing an excellent and designer Niqab, you can go for scary Niqab

All these things would probably help you get rid from prom date proposals in an efficient and reliable way.

Because of the standard principles of the Islamic jurisprudence, any Muslim Woman enjoys exactly the same capacity plus freedom enjoyed by any man. She may also propose to the man for marriage by mouth or even in writing, she could freely choose her partner, reject the suitor she doesn’t like or get divorce from the estranged husband in opposition to his will. However, a man relative normally formalizes any marriage contract and also marriage dissolution and divorce on a female’s initiative is just granted by the judge.

A wife might have anything creed of scriptural religious beliefs on variance with the Muslim Husband without the compulsion. She could and should obtain any kind of education without any kind of limit or hindrance. It’s reported that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) strongly recommended the best education of girls. Anyone from among the folks of the scriptures which believed in his Prophet and in Prophet Muhammad the slave whom endeavors to fulfill his obligation towards Allah as well his experts along with those who have a slave girl as well as strove to teach her and also educate her well and also then provides her freedom plus marries her. It’s worthy of take note that females have been attending a general assemblies for studying held by Prophet.

Consequently, women are permitted to complete freedom of expression from their proper opinions in order that those to progress on their juristic views with venture their views within the existence of the Prophet. Therefore, she is capable to own property with dispose of this in any manner because the Islam generally offers an equitable plus fair role for females in the monetary life of the Muslim society. Within an Islamic society, females participate in any appointment of counseling as well as control officers accountable for the public matters of society by the procedure of consultation. Any woman is fairly entitled to move out for any requirement.

A woman might go to the marketplace to do business and or else as this might entail anyone inconveniencing her. The problem of the women within Islam is hugely controversial as decided that all the rights awarded to any woman into the Holy Quran and through the prophet Muhammad had been a vast improvement compared to the circumstances of any women in Arabia before the introduction of Islam. After Prophet’s death, the circumstance of women within Islam started to decline and also reverts back in pre-Islamic norms. However just like the women’s movement within the west started to get steam within the 20 th century a similar thing occurred, though to a smaller extent within the Muslim world currently. As a result, all Muslim women have already been developing the distinctly Islamic feminism because women of color within the western have been creating “womanism” as opposed to feminism that shaped by the issues of the United States women.

Transgender which is also called Mukhannatun(in Arabic), is commonly utilized like the overarching term for many different individuals, behaviors and also groups involving tendencies on the gender continuum which are in resistance to and within divergence from the sex role (woman or man) generally but not continually assigned for life on birth. Transgender is definitely the state of someone’s identity not matching someone’s assigned gender that is commonly based on physical and genetic sex and of falling in to multiple classes in terms of sex or gender plus sexual identification. The Transgender is inclusive from such diverse categories like cross-dressing, the transsexuals plus any other characteristics and behaviors not usually associated with someone’s assigned gender.

A lot better array of human sexuality as well as gender identities exist compared to have been traditionally recognized in western culture. A possibility to discover how many distinguishable classes exists nevertheless is to list all of them within the terms of all those classes that are mutually exclusive, partly exclusive, or even inclusive then crisis the numbers. Transgender is much less frequently utilized especially refer to folks whose gender identity and / or appearance is within an “in-between” condition, rather than just as one umbrella term. A more recent related term is the genderqueer that refers to mixing of the qualities traditionally connected with female and male, and may also refer to an in-between sense oftentimes associated with transgenderism.

The majority of folks who self-identify like genderqueer would utilize “transgender” solely like an umbrella term. In case physical appearance, gender perfectness as well as general behavior is similar exact than the internal feeling, it’s still the Transgender Hidden Symptoms (TGHS) symptoms or syndrome, which may become treated without any kind of surgical gender change. The Mukhannathun is the Arabic word-defining person who is born with male’s sexual organs and also behaves like male however inside there is the strong desire to become a female. Such folks hate the gender they’re born and try to become girl by hormonal therapy plus later gender change by surgery.

In Islam, in case the Mukhannath is normal within his sexual behavior, through physical appearance as well as by physical activities, however his internal perception is powerful to change the gender. Then it’s a physiological disorder that anyone should be treated by medicinal therapy, which can involve changing the hormonal level more powerful for what he’s born. Male hormones allow him to behave similar to man and think as man instead of female. Change of the sexual organs isn’t desired in Islam plus anyone suffering from the transgender syndrome will be treated spiritually with patience and endurance.
Transgender Hidden Symptoms (which is also called TGHS) could be successfully treated with all the following Zikroperational treatment by the patient on his own, while parents may help complete supplications concurrently.

Muslim world revolves around Quran, the Holy Scripture. Most of the internal rules and laws are derivatives of Quran. Lack of education and adaptation of modernity is due to the inability of Muslims in creating new interpretations of the Holy Scripture.

Islam is a universal religion as it is claimed many times and the deep study of the religion proves the fact too for example; peace, democracy, welfare state, education, negotiations, diplomacy, business, women rights, law of war, inheritance laws and women rights here, and many more are the concepts of 21st century yet they were given in Islam, centuries ago. This shows the compatibility and universality of the religion in general.

Muslim maulvis (who are responsible for Islamic education) are generally qualified only in Islamic education and no know how of modern education what so ever. They are never taught any other theory, subject or anything than Islam and the worst thing is that they are not taught any interpretations of Islam; hence, their untrained minds are stuck to only one perspective of the world. This is the same that happened in Europe during the glorious days of church. Muslim maulvis lack of interpretations lead to general lack of modernity of thought because many people would authenticate maulvis superiority considering them holy and respectable.

Since the general public in Muslim countries is exposed to these maulvis and their conservative ideas, they never get out of the 8th century setting that has been imprinted on the minds of Muslim scholars without any modification at all. This lack of adaptation has hindered the development process of Muslim nation because their initial and most basic information remains faulty.

One of the biggest disasters of lack of adaptation and explanation is to be seen in the Muslim guerilla organizations like al-Qaeda or many others. These organizations are a consequence of preaching of jehad without reason and adaptation. The reason that jehad holds, is forgotten and now the concept is used for manipulation for political purposes. Whereas the maulvis would like to preach jehad as a basic concept of Islam, they always miss out the point that how much Islam stresses peace and prosperity.

Moulvi culture, lack of faith and weak belief in Allah Subhana wa Tallah are all inter connected to one and another. These factors and many others are impacting the true spirit of religion. Islam is more than a set of rules and regulations. It encompasses all the aspects of life of a human and complete code of life for the Muslims. Flaw is not in the teachings but in belief and practices of the so-called followers of Islam.

The one and only that describes Muslims lagging behind in the race of nations is education. Education is what has deprived Muslims of glory and magnificence. In the wake of 20th century, everything in the world changed. Industrial revolution was knocking at the door of human civilization. Alongside the revolution was rising the need for higher and technical education. World Wars were going be fought over these assets and only educational superiority was going to win the world and that has been proven by the rise of America after World War I and II. They were technologically superior because they were investing in research and education of master minds and that was the decisive factor.

Muslims, on the other hand, were living off the fruits of sultanship in the era. The thought process had not much developed in Muslims so as to understand the magnitude of the change hitting the world. Muslims of this era were lagging in technical education, social sciences, general sciences and political studies. The sultan remained mainly aloof of the new world order and the vicious alliances in Europe of the day, hence, the last empire of Muslims came crushing down only because Muslims could not perceive the situation due to lack of proper understanding of international scenario.

Muslims had lagged behind after the fall of Baghdad and the tradition has never left them since. Even after the fall of last empire, Muslim world remained un-interested in the promotion of education, no special attention was paid on this sector, and this still is true for almost all Muslim countries. Right now Muslim world’s educational budgets are one of the lowest despite the overwhelming wealth that the oil rich countries own.

Another very basic problem is the mode of education in the Muslim world. The education sector has denied the concept of innovation and freedom of expression in the education and that has resulted in the stagnancy of the whole nation’s thought process. Consequently the Muslim world suffers from lack of development and progress, things that had belonged to Muslims once!
