- Science clearly indicates that, at one point in time, the whole universe was nothing but a cloud of ‘smoke’, the result of what is known today as the ‘Big Bang’.This is one of the undisputed principles of modern cosmology.
God said in the Quran:
Then He turned to the heavens when it was smoke.
(41:11)
- As the whole universe was created from same smoke,we conclude that the earth and the heavens were one connected entity. Then out of this homogeneous ‘smoke’, they formed and separated from each other.
God said in the Quran:
Do not the disbelievers realise that the heavens and earth were one connected entity,
then We split them asunder, and We made from water every living thing?
(21:31-34)
- The Universe is expanding at an ever increasing rate say astronomers using NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope.
God said in the Quran:
The heavens, We have built them with power. And verily, We are expanding it

- According to the scientists Water vaporizes from the oceans and rivers forming tiny clouds. The small clouds join together and the updrafts within the larger cloud increase.The cloud body stretches into cooler regions of the atmosphere where drops of water and hail formulate and begin to grow larger and larger. When these drops of water and hail become too heavy for the updrafts to support them, they begin to fall from the cloud as rain, hail, etc.
God said in the Quran:
Have you not seen how God makes the clouds move gently, then joins them together, then
makes them into a stack, and then you see the rain come out of it.
(24:43)
- Scientists believe life originated in an aquatic environment full of inorganic compounds, and when struck by high amounts of energy(lightning) this produced organic compounds, the first basic building blocks of life.
God said in the Quran:
We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?
