In Ramadan, when we want to build our spirituality, we’ve got to wage Jihad against our bad habits.

Try to stick to the Prophetic rule on eating: fill our stomachs with one-third food, one-third water and one-third breathing space, even in Ramadan.

Open your hearts and dig a little deeper in our wallets this year.Whatever you can give, it’s the intention that counts.

Memorizing the Quran often seems like a daunting task. But the key is doing it in small bites.Try to memorize new Surahs. Start off with a short, easy one. Once you’ve started, you’ll build momentum and may even want to memorize a longer one.

Try your best to head out to the mosque for Tarawih prayers. The community spirit is part of Ramadan’s blessings. Don’t miss it this year.

It’s hard not to shut our mouths off when someone upset’s us. Stop Swearing And Backbiting.

Strengthening ties with family members and keeping in touch with friends is part of our way of life and an act Allah is very pleased with.

After Iftar, instead of plopping yourself in front of the screen, go to Tarawih. The same goes for the television. The point is to try to give our full attention to spiritual elevation this month.

Even if you feel you’ve got absolutely no time, you can read a page of the Quran you open. The point is simply to connect with God through His evelation in the month of the Quran.

Go of the anger and pain this Ramadan and forgive those who have hurt you. Forgiving someone is great for the soul.

Keep away from debates and arguments.

Be nice to those around you, even if you don’t know you. Just smile to people.

Help someone across the road, carry the groceries for your neighbor.

Think outside of the box, help a couple to get married, help someone out of debt, buy translated Qurans for new converts.

Tie your yearly Zakat with Ramadan. Any money or gold that has been in your possession for a year has zakat which should be paid. It might be easier to tie your zakat with Ramadan because it is a memorable date.

Ask yourself those questions that need to be asked. Do an evaluation of where you are and where you are going. Let this evaluation lead you to feel happiness for the good you have done and remorse for the bad you have done.

Remember that Allah is watching during Ramadan and After not Only during Ramadan.

بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة و سلام على رسول الله

In the name of Allah, and all praise and thanks is due to Allah, and may He send peace and blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad

It is quite true that—historically—the prevalent (جمهور) opinion in Islamic jurisprudence regarding the use of and listening to musical instruments is that of prohibition (حرام).

It is the official opinion of the four schools of thought, although various scholars from different schools held it is only disliked (مكروه) and many others deemed it permissible with the condition that the song is not immoral. It is not true that there is a consensus on it or that the opinion of permissibility is a strange opinion, which is a divergence from clear teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah. In today’s world there are a growing number of prominent scholars that allow listening to instruments that don’t accompany sinful poetry (song).

We will—with divine support—show that this issue is a matter of legitimate disagreement based on scholarly derivation and interpretation (اجتهاد). Unfortunately, one of the main reasons for this research is that there is actually a movement among modern scholars to dismiss, suppress, or misrepresent the opinion of permissibility!

There is a claim that no prominent scholars ruled for the permissibility of musical instruments except for Yusuf al-Qaradawi, who is purported to solely rely on a strange opinion of Imam Ibn Hazm. This is false. There are hundreds, dare I say thousands, of scholars who held the permissibility of listening to music as long as the song is morally upright. The following are some of the most prominent scholars (mujtahideen) in our history who, not only deemed it permissible, but in some cases wrote a whole research to prove it!

Abdullah bin Ja’far bin Abi Talib (al-Aqd al-Fareed 6/12)

Sh. Abu Hamed al-Ghazali (vol. 6 pg. 1150 al-Ihyaa’)

Imam al-Shawkani (Ibtal da’wa al-Ijmaa ala mutlaq al-Sama’)

Imam ibn Hazm (Al-Muhallah)

Imam Abdul-Ghani al-Nablusi (Idaahat al-Dalalaat fee sama’ al-alaat)

Sultan al-Ulema al-Iz ibn Abdul-Salam (Rislat al-Sama’)

Al-Qadi Ibn Qutaiba al-Daynoor (al-Rukhsah fi al-Sama’)

Imam Ibn Tahir al-Qaysirany (pg. 31 al-Sama’)

Imam al-Thahabi (al-Rukhsah fil-Ghinaa wa al-Turb)

Abu Talib al-Makky (Qoot al-Quloob)

al-Qady Ibn Al-Araby al-Makky (Ahkam al-Quran vol. 3 pg. 1494)

Sh. Yusuf al-Majishoon the prominent Muhaddith (#3399 ibn al-Khuthayma)

Ibn Daqeeq al-Eid (Iqtinas al-Sawanih)

Sh. Jad Ali jad al-Haqq (fatawah #3280)

Sh. Mahmood Al-Shaltoot (pg. 375 fatawaah)

May God shower them all with His Mercy!

Some scholars try to say that many of these scholars were simply saying that it is permissible to listen to songs a cappella—and some of their works do make that point in addition to the permissibility of also using musical instruments. Each one of these references refers to the opinion of permissibility for songs with instruments.

The following are the juristic proofs used to illustrate prohibition and the response from the scholars who are not convinced by the evidence or who see the evidence in a different way:

From the Qur’an: There are two verses which are interpreted as justifying prohibition supporting the clearer hadith (narration) on the subject. They are as follows:

“There are some people who buy distracting/entertaining speech without knowledge in order to mislead people from the path of God…” (Qur’an 31:6)

Only a couple out of the dozens of exegetes thought this had anything to do with musical instruments.

Many exegetes took the more common path of general meaning in the absence of an authentic text and said it refers to preferring or liking to listen to false speech, thus distracting one from Islam.

The vast majority of exegetes said it is talking about the singing of jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic days). Imam al-Qurtubi said that this and the other verse are those that the scholars use as evidence for the disliked (مكروه) nature of singing. Imam al-Qurtubi also narrates that this verse was revealed in the life of the Prophet ﷺ when a man bought a slave known for singing unIslamic songs of jahiliyyah (ignorance).

Many exegetes pointed out a weak hadith that is strengthened by the aforementioned circumstantial cause of revelation. The weak hadith states:

“.لا يحل بيعُ المُغنّياتِ ولا شِراؤهنّ وثمنهنّ حرامٌ”

“It is prohibited to buy or sell women singers of jahiliyyah. The price of such transaction is prohibited.”

The evidence for prohibition of Islamic Music in this verse is very weak. Any true scholar will surely admit that the verse is not evidence in and of itself; rather it is supportive to a couple hadiths and the position of many Companions.

The second verse is:

“(God is saying to Satan) Incite whoever you can among them with your voice…” (Qur’an 17:64)

Some scholars from the early generations said this is literal and it means that Satan is whispering to us to follow him and disobey God as is mentioned in the famous verse in Surah Ibrahim, “I had no authority over you except that I called you and you followed me…” (Qur’an 14:22). The great Imam of tafsir (exegesis) al-Tabari took the position as is his style that it is general and since there is no clear evidence specifying what is meant by “your voice” then it is taken literally and generally.

Many other scholars noted that the verse is talking about playing (لعب) and wasting time (لهو). Once again, no real scholar will claim that this verse in and of itself can be used to prohibit listening to music.

Let’s see what evidence we can find from the Sunnah (traditions of the Prophet ﷺ):

There is a hadith mentioned as an attachment (معلق) to a section in the authentic collection of Bukhari under the chapter of drinks #5590 titled those who seek permission of drinking alcohol by calling it another name. Imam al-Bukhari did not put the Hadith as an official Hadith in his authentic collection. According to Imam al-Muhallab the reason was because Hisham was not sure of the name of the companion (Al-Ibtal Al-Shawkani pg. 9) The hadith goes:

“…ليكونَنَّ من أمَّتي أقوامٌ ، يستحلُّونَ الحِرَ والحريرَ ، والخمرَ والمعازِفَ”

“There will be a group of people from my nation who will deem silk, alcohol and musical instruments as permissible…”

Some hadith scholars found a connected chain for this type of hadith. The most famous is the book by Ibn Hajr in his book “closing the attachments” (تغليق التعليق). There are scholars who argued against his assertions, but even if we were to accept his findings about a connection between al-Bukhari and Hisham bin Ammar there is still a problem with Hisham as a narrator among some prominent hadith scholars.

There are many concerning issues with this hadith. According to Imam al-Thahabi in his famous 4-volume book Mizan al-I’tidaal which accounts for all the weak narrators he could gather. Imam al-Thahabi mentions that Hisham bin Ammar used to be a veracious narrator, then he changed. He has narrated 400 hadiths that have no basis. He used to not narrate unless someone paid him. He was accused of changing the text. Imam Ahmad said he was reckless. Some narrated that he said the Qur’an has words from Gabriel and Muhammad ﷺ and is created speech.

Ibn Hajar acknowledges this, but justifies his ruling of the hadith through a different narration that has someone else narrating it other than Hisham. That hadith varies in text but does mention the people deeming musical instruments as permissible (which linguistically and logically doesn’t necessarily mean that it is prohibited). The next problem with this hadith, which is not solved by Ibn Hajar’s book, is a narrator named Atiyah bin Qays.

Atiyah bin Qays was a righteous man who hadith scholars agreed regarding his character and honesty (عدالة), but there is an issue among some scholars about his precision of memory and narrating (ضبط). Some famous scholars of hadith call him trustworthy (ثقة) just because he is a known pious man while the issue of his precision with hadith is unknown (مجهول). Some of them said although he is acceptable (far from Saheeh ) to be careful in narrating from him. This is mentioned by the hadith scholar Abu Hatem al-Razi in his book al-Jarh wa al-Ta’deel 2/37 and by Abu Bakr al-Bazzaar in his book Kashf al-Astar 1/106.

This is the best proof that the proponents of prohibition bring forth according to them. Other hadiths are relying on this one. For example:

“.ليكونن في هذه الأمة خسف، وقذف، ومسخ، وذلك إذا شربوا الخمور، واتخذوا القينات، وضربوا بالمعازف”

“There will be disgrace and defamation in this nation when they will drink alcohol and listen to music (literally female singers while beating on instruments).” (al-Suyooti al-Sagheer 7720)

Even a layman can see that the linguistic connotation does not in any way show a prohibition for listening to music, but rather a prohibition of the “party” scene. There are many other hadiths like this one that show that the combination of alcohol and music is a shameful and immoral scene. On this fact there is a consensus among scholars. Even in the narration of the other hadith seen as the strongest proof, there are variations which focus on drinking alcohol by a different name and don’t even mention musical instruments. Thus Imam Bukhari’s precise classification.

Many people feel that even though we see the issues in the proofs used for prohibiting music, still it is the official opinion of the 4 main schools of thought and that shows that it was clear to those scholars who know better than us. The assumption here is that every scholar from the different schools of thought over the centuries was a mujtahid and was willing to challenge the opinion and evidence of his own school. This was simply just not the case as Dr. Mana’ al-Qattan narrates in his book on the history of legislation in Islamic history. He elucidates on the well-known unfortunate part of our history known as the closing of the doors to juristic reasoning (إغلاق باب الاجتهاد). For close to 8 centuries, most of the scholars passed down by memory and book most of the rulings of Islamic Law. For various reasons, they were uncomfortable with people changing or questioning popular rulings. Some of those who didn’t agree with this methodology like Ibn Taymiyyah (ra) or al-Suyooti (ra) were seen as dissidents. There is also some historical evidence that this ruling of prohibition of all music was heavily promoted toward the end of the Abbasi Caliphate because of the widespread immorality with music and drinking as many of the hadiths indicate. In my research, which really requires a whole book, there is more than meets the eye on the prevalence of the opinion prohibiting all instrumental music.

Proofs for the Permission of Good, Morally Upright Music:

There is a false claim that the Companions all prohibited it. Abdullah bin al-Zubair used to keep women playing guitars (lutes) and singing in his presence. (Idahaat al-Dalalat al-Nablusi 96)
There is no disagreement about the Ibrahim bin Sa’d bin Abdul Rahman bin Awf listening to songs with guitars (al-Sama’ Ibn Tahir 63) Jews have always attributed music to Prophet David ‘alahi assalatu wassalam (peace and blessings be upon him). It is in the Bible, “The priests stood in waiting at their assigned places, along with the descendants of Levi who carried musical instruments used in service to the LORD that King David had made for giving thanks to the LORD—because his gracious love is eternal…” (2 Chronicles 7:6). So in the following hadith and commentary we have some solid evidence for the praise of good music: “

يا أبا موسى ، لقد أوتيتَ مِزمارًا مِن مزاميرِ آلِ داود”

“Abu Musa, Surely you have been given a voice like the music of David.” (Bukhari 5048)

Many scholars want to say that this hadith is simply referring to a beautiful voice. When we look into Ibn Hajar’s explanation of this hadith he comments with another sound hadith, “I entered Abu Musa’s house and I have not heard a cymbal, lute or a flute better than his voice.” (al-Fath)

The clear linguistic indication here is that the Prophet ﷺ is talking about musical instruments as though they are beautiful and delightful. That cannot be the case in something prohibited. It would be like him saying to his companion who earned a lot of money, “That’s even better than hijacking a caravan!”

Imam al-Thahabi’s recordings about scholars in his book on prominent Muslims. Here are two examples:
“Ishaaq al-Nadeem an Imam who was a great scholar master of many sciences. Known for music with untainted poetry…” (Siyar 11/118)

“Ulayyah sister of the commander of the faithful Haroon al-Rasheed ‘Well-refined poetess known for singing and music with a pleasant voice. A modest pious women of precedence…’” (Siyar 10/187)

There are hadiths that led many scholars from the schools of thought to permit listening to drums. Other prominent Malikis and Shafi’ees (two different schools of thought) allowed trumpets, flutes and tambourines. Those are all musical instruments and the Islamic legal practice of analogy (قياس) allows other instruments in the absence of a clear text prohibiting them.

Whichever opinion you feel is stronger, you are welcome to follow. Please don’t judge someone else because they follow a different opinion than you. Our scholars teach us the following principle in dealing with law—there shall be no rebuking in matters of legitimate disagreement.

.لا إنكار في مسائل الاختلاف

Islam has a rich tradition of knowledge that by divine decree has differing interpretations as to the details of law. Only God owns the absolute truth.

If you choose to listen to music, observe piety and do not listen to immoral music or choose to be in immoral environments. There is no doubt that much of today’s music is prohibited by Islam and even some Islamic music still brings bad environments.

Today I have selected the topics named weaning from the Dunya. Weaning off may be defined as the leave of love of the world. This is the base of Islam cornerstone m teaching or learning.

Most of the people heard this but they cannot leave the attraction of this world and gradually they are becoming more and more fascinated for the attraction of the world. By creation man desire and also express love from the others but they are not enough with this love they demand and cherish to have more and more comfort which is taught by our great and peaceful religion Islam.

After reading this you can have a question that how we know that we have weaned ourselves from the world. This answer belongs to you not mine. You have to answer a simple question like what do you really cherish.

The answer must be the comfort, happiness, amenities etc. As the baby cannot live without his mother’s breast milk and also you can not live without the comfort, happiness, and amenities. But this does not Islam teaches. They not only cherish to have this they must have and without having this they behave like crazy.

This ego is just to compare with child shouting for her mother milk. They must remember that this world is not forever it is only for that time until them alive after that they have face another life. SO they cannot make or build any world like this. In the recent period of time man totally forget this and for this when they do not get according to their wish or cherish they can do any harmful behavior. This cannot be the behavior of the beautiful mankind.

As weaning is a gradual process and for this we have to leave it also gradually. Zuhd has three degrees like l eaving what is prohibited (haram), leaving what is uncalled for of the lawful (al-fudul min al-halal), leaving whatever distracts you from God.

Among them the first Zuhd is the zuhd of the masses. The second one is zuhd of the elite and the last one is zuhd of the gnostics (‘arifin). The first level is an obligation on each Muslim; the second, highly desirable; the third, the sought after goal.

Once you start to love Allah then you can follow all of these restrictions without feeling any hesitation. Otherwise you will have to suffer in another world. I think you have already got the all things to wean off the world which is very important according to the teaching of Islam.

If you are a real Muslim then you must leave the overall attraction of the world otherwise you will suffer a lot in another world of Allah in which we have to answer the entire question that you have done in the world. So you must be very careful about this and start to try weaning off the world for your own betterment.

Today most of the high school boys and girls have interested to participate in the prom function, which would be conducted at the last day of school or college years. Even though these prom nights would be more entertaining one, it would be better for the students to get away from those nights. It would be one of the best ways to show your devotion towards Allah.

When you have gone through the Prom nights to enjoy with your friends, it would probably make you get with the hormonally-repressed thing. Because of this reason it has become as necessary for you to avoid prom nights in order to get rid from huge sin. It is even better to avoid the prom date proposal that you have got from girls.

How to avoid prom dates?

If you don’t want to go with the prom dates and still there are many proposals from girls for prom dates, it has become as necessary for you to follow the following things in order to get rid from that.

Don’t groom your beardSince most of the girls would get attracted because of the beard that has been maintained in good way, it would be better for you to stop grooming beard. You should stop to trim, shape and wash the beard for three months or for a long time. This would probably make your face to be hairy one and hence no one will propose to you for prom dates

Avoid using deodorant
Another important thing that would attract most of the girls to ask you for prom date would be the excellent deodorant. It would be better for you to avoid using the deodorant, in order to avoid prom dates. You can go for jogging half an hour in the morning and then go to school or college without changing your dress. This would probably be helpful for no one to ask you to date in future

Pretend as you are married
Wearing a fake ring to pretend you as married would be one of the anti-prom date techniques that work forever. If any girl asked you about your wife just tell her as that she is so pretty than they are and also more good things about your imaginary wife. This would probably make a girl to get away from asking you for prom dates. But you should have to be very careful. Since, you have imagined about your wife for a long time this would probably make you stop marrying real girl.

If you have followed out all these techniques you would probably get rid from prom date’s proposals. These are all the techniques for boys.

Compare to boys, girls would get more prom date proposals and the things that they have to follow for avoiding prom dates are as follows:

Wear a fake beard
Even though this is more funny way, it would probably make you avoid prom date proposals

Bring your dad to school
This would make most of the boys to get scare about your dad and hence no proposals would be in future

Wear a scary Niqab
Rather than wearing an excellent and designer Niqab, you can go for scary Niqab

All these things would probably help you get rid from prom date proposals in an efficient and reliable way.

Laws are the norms for a society and they are established to create a harmony and compatibility among the individuals, their deeds and their societies. They also develop the awareness among the masses of the consequences of their deeds. Laws can be of different natures and origins i.e. social, political, religious, etc. But religious laws are created and revealed by God that has no discrepancies.

Islam established its own laws and has the capability to cover all the fields and issues of modern society as Islam is the religion revealed purely by God. There are numerous Islamic laws but some of the conspicuous laws are mentioned as under:

Taqlid (Pursuing a Mujtahid or Jurist):

Taqlid refers to obeying a Mujtahid (Jurist) for the essentials of the doctrine for a Mujtahid can extract religious logic from Qur’an and Sunnah.

Taharat:

Taharat refers to the specific sort of cleanliness. The Muslims are ordered to keep themselves clean apparently as well as in the hidden state of mind and body. Some of the important aspects of Taharat are: water, Najis things, Wudhu, Ghusl, Tayammum, blood, etc.

Namaz (Prayer):

Namaz refers to a particular type of worship. The Muslims have to follow a particular method to offer it according to the order of God as well as the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam). Some of the important aspects of laws regarding Namaz are: Obligatory Daily Namaz, timings, Nafal, Mustahab, Qibla, conditions for prayer, etc.

Fasting:

Fasting refers to make one’s own self away from eating, drinking, sexual intercourse, within a specific period of time for one month. Some of the necessary aspects regarding Fasting are: Vomiting, Haram and Makrooh conditions, Dust reaching to throat, etc.

No doubt, this is a very limited discussion on Islamic laws yet one can grasp the need and importance of these Islamic laws in the modern society. The Islamic laws have been implemented successfully in the modern society. The modern society needs their implementation even more and extremely as there are more problems in the modern society than the ancient society.

Muslims have two great festival in a year , that is Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha, Muslims celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr after the month of Ramadan , That Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha considers as a gift of fasting whole month , Muslims Do that Because that is Allah’s for ummah of Hazrat Muhammad S.A.W .

History of the Eid al-Adha is different and really interesting; The Muslims celebrate that in the month of Zil-Hajj on 10th of Dhu’l-Hijja. Muslims for whole of the word celebrate this day in accomplishment and to commemorate the faith of Abraham. Allah gives name to Abraham in Quran khalil-ul-Allah, The friend of Allah.

Many years back Abraham was born in idol-worshipping tribe of Chaldea. At his childhood he was among the kuffar , But Allah had brightened his heart with the light of truth. That’s why He doesn’t adopt them. Clarity of his heart toward Allah revealed when he had dream that he was sacrificing his own son. Then for fulfilling the command of his Allah next day he sacrificed camels. And distributed it among the poor in the name of Allah, As Allah commanded him in dream. But on next day he dreamed the same, and he was bit worried because he had already fulfilled the command by Allah. But Next day he did the same he sacrificed camels again. And he prayed to Allah to accept that.

But one the third night he had same dream; he saw he was sacrificing his on son Ishmael. On that day instead of sacrificing camels he called to his beloved son and told him a whole story.

(The Quran: 37:102)

“O my son! I have seen thee being sacrificed in a dream; what sayest thou?”

His son had a strong believe on his father and because of that without any question he replied in yes. Yes father I am ready.

(The Quran: 37:102).

“O my father! Do what thou art commanded; if God please, thou wilt find me of the patient ones”

So Father and the son bother were get ready for accomplished the command by ALLAH.

They went far away from house on the hills side. Daemons tried hard to restrain him from this act, because that act was for ALLAH When he was going to cut the throat of his son, his eyes where close and he cut the throat but not of his son but a goat from heaven. They accomplished their mission to fulfill the command of ALLAH.

Quran is the manual for every human on this planet and Sunnah is the practice of each and every word in Quran. The followers of true Islam or Deen follow both Quran and Sunnah to achieve the pleasures and rewards here and life hereafter.

The biggest reward for any human can be his or her God whom he or she worships is pleased and this is exactly what one can do if follows the teachings mentioned in Quran. From marriage to education, from lap to grave every topic and subject is covered in the Holy Book Quran. So, the only need is to study and implement as well as learn the teachings of real Islam by following the Sunnah of Holy Prophet.

It is our perception and thoughts by the help of which we perceive things. We just stick to what we hear and what we see, rather than coming to a conclusion after a thorough research. That is a dilemma that needs to be overcome sooner or later if we want to live in a peaceful society that wants to progress.

The quest to find the truth should always be there and the thirst to find out the hidden facts should never be settled with anything. This quest is like an ignition that makes the body and soul going and ultimately it leads to the cognition of truth i-e knowing the truthful information. This cognitive framework related to the discovery of the truth can indeed be called as Islam. Truth always makes your life sound and so does Islam, which has nothing, but truth.

Islam is a complete code of conduct and has all the golden principles of living a happy and peaceful life. Exploring the principles and applying them to the daily life is the main issue. Islam provides us with the guidelines relating to every aspect of life like law, economics, banking and the list goes on and on. In short, Islam has the guidance for us in every walk of life, and it is up to us that how we respond to that.

Certainly, many of the European and Asian countries that have stepped on the road of development, have shaped their model according to the ideals of Islam and because of that, they have touched the heights of success. Following the principles of Islam, one can be rest assured that he is on the right track, and as the teachings of Islam have no hidden entity involved in it, anyone can look into the things to believe himself.

Banking is a sector on which the economy of a country depends. No country can achieve glory without having a sound banking system. Islam has given us all the guidelines to follow in every aspect of life. It is the case in banking. Islam has put in front of us certain conditions that are to be followed while doing banking.

Islam is the set of most beautiful and balanced principals for life of any individual. According to the true Islamic faith, accumulation of wealth is not at all supported. Islam believes in keeping the funds or money in circulation and there are many golden rules that one can follow for the creation of perfect society that is free of poverty and discriminations. One of the aspects of this beautiful religion is Islamic way of investing in business and earning profit. On all the profit one earns and all of his possession including gold and silver there is 2.5% obligatory deduction called zakat. Every earning person is liable to pay zakat to the needy and poor. In this way, the foundation of healthy society is laid where everyone is happy, fed and at peace. Another beautiful aspect of Islamic thought is to invest in interest free system and lay the stone of interest free banking.

The first thing that should be kept in mind is the involvement and use of interest in banking. In Islamic banking, it is totally forbidden and the banking is done according to the principles laid down by Islam. All the products and also the lending and borrowing activity is free of interest in Islamic banking. Other concepts were evolved to ease the customers, which include the concept of partnership in which a person gets entitled to the property as a legal partner rather than earning interest on that. This is useful for both the lender and the borrower and the cycle continues in a precise way.

Before the introduction of Islamic banking, many Muslims were quite reluctant to use the banking system for doing investment as it involves the phenomenon of interest. So to cater and handle the needs of the Muslims Islamic banking was introduced, which has now become popular not only among the Muslims but also among non-Muslims as well. The reason for this is that it works on the golden principles of equity and fair play, which inspires everyone regardless of the cast and creed.
Various forms of partnerships have been launched under the scheme of Islamic banking, which includes “Mufawada” and “Mudaraba”. Mudaraba is the form of partnership, which provides the person with limited entitlement of the asset. Therefore, this type of partnership in Islamic banking is sometimes called as the partnership of limited liability.

Islam is religion that is sent for the humanity to follow till the world ends. The religious Book of Holy Quran has guidance for every aspect of life. Our last Prophet (PBUH) has set practical example of a life that should be lead by the true Muslim. The Muslims have ruled the world when they follow the Islamic laws strictly but as they follow modern trends and become ease loving they turn into third world countries.

Modernization in the field of education and technology is well appreciated with reference to Islam. But if we take today’s modernization vulgarity is at its peak in its name. Being modern the ladies have started wearing sleeveless dresses without dupattas. Islam preaches to cover the beauties and considered it loyalty towards their husbands. Whole body should be completely covered that the Muslim women should not look like the exposing stuff of enjoyment. Thus, Islamic values are left behind to be trendy. Muslims are too busy to perform prayers yet not busy to gossip on the mobiles, chat on internet and go at shopping malls. They have money to invest in the business, buy a new car, arrange the wedding of their kids but make excuses to go on the holy privilege Hajj which is obligatory on those who can afford it.

The media has taken up the youth a lot. They waste a lot of time watching movies. In the name of modernization the young ones imitate to be the false characters they watch. Instead of learning about the Quran and Holy Prophets, they are fans of Batman and Spiderman. Even during the month of Ramadan the sounds of music float in air. Dancing and singing is not a part of our religion but people Muslims are obsessed into it. People have started avoiding fasting because of their business meetings, matches, work burden, exams and countless reasons. Those who fast does not perform prayers or do tell lies that kill the main purpose of fasting. Muslims avoid paying Zakat for the lust of money and increase their wealth to get double. They are Muslims without following Islamic values so are doomed to be ruled by the super powers.

Islam preaches to be simple but to show off people are making their own life complicated. Dowry is not a part of the Islamic values but Muslims are giving their daughters a lot of stuff to maintain their social standard. They waste money in different wedding parties whereas Islam says to have Nikah and reception. From that sum many other girls can be married simply with little stuff necessary for household. The modernization has rusted the soles of the Muslims depriving them from following the set rules of their great religion.

The Islamic Shariah laws are the rules and regulations, the moral and ethical codes by which all Muslims are asked to lead their lives. The question whether Islamic Shariah law is above democracy or not has been the subject of heated arguments for many years. However, today many Islamic countries and analysts show how the two can go hand in hand. While many people, including Muslims, believe that democracy is the way to go, the Islamic Shariah still controls the legal code of majority of the Muslim states. Even though extreme strictness and cruel punishments such as stoning and amputation exist in this law, the idea of the Shariah existing parallel to democracy, secularism and modernity is a growing one.

Various analysts throughout the world agree that democracy has its foundation in Islam and the Koran, as the Koran clearly states that mutual discussion is required among the people. The implementation of complete Shariah law, for many Muslims, is the last hope left for them to be united under one banner, to be free of autocratic corruption and to be treated with Justice and the rule of the law. On the other hand many favor the democratic or secular system in which the Muslims will be able to follow their religion out of their own spiritual needs and not due to the pressure put on them by the law obligating them to perform their religious duties.

Due to the mixed opinions of the Muslims all around the globe, the democratic law and the Islamic law have been incorporated together in three different ways, all in the hope of creating a balance between the two. The first system is known as the Dual Legal System which is practiced in majority of the Muslim countries. In this system Shariah courts are allowed to exist under a secular government and the citizens are permitted to take their family and financial issues to the Shariah courts. Many western democracies are considering the establishment of small level Shariah courts to tackle disputes regarding marriage, divorce, inheritance etc among the Muslims of their country.

The second system is known as the Government under God. This system is practiced in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Bahrain, Kuwait etc. Under this system, Islam is considered the religion of the state and the laws and constitution is derived from the Shariah Law. The third system is the completely secular one, in which Islamist groups influence the local traditions however in the constitution there is no influence from the Shariah. Such a system is practiced in countries like Azerbaijan, Chad, and Somalia etc.

Even in secular Islamic states, the Islamist political parties affect the way of life reducing the crack between the state and the religion. Hence there is no denying that the Shariah Law makes it way up the system and has a control over the way the Islamic countries are run.

The 9/11 terrorist attacks affected the entire world, leaving behind a baggage of uncertainty. It left behind a nation full of grief. But for the Muslims in the USA, it caused a 360 degree drift in their day to day lives. An estimated six Million American Muslims were shattered and devastated at the harm done to their country, but unlike the other Americans, these Muslims had to deal with the insults and the ache of being rejected by their fellow Americans.

Islam in the USA, immediately after the 9/11 attacks, became unsteady as the Muslims (especially the youth) became uncertain regarding their faith and identity as a follower of Islam. However, simultaneously, on the other hand many became more adamant and established a stronger sense of self and placed higher belief in their teachings and traditions. The reaction was different throughout the country.

The misrepresentation of Muslims as terrorists by the media and the discrimination done against them in the society at large caused many young Muslims to try and change themselves in order to be accepted by those around them. Many young Muslim girls decided to give up their head scarf while many Muslim men decided to shave off their beards. Some went to the extreme of changing their names just for the sake of being acknowledged as true Americans. Many took the other path, strengthened their faith in their religion and with the help of the organizations they worked with passed on statements and religious verdicts against terrorism, strictly condemning the 9/11 attacks. Through various ways, such as peaceful rallies and the media, the American Muslims tried to prove they were loyal to the United States of America and tried to portray the true picture of Islam as a religion of peace.

Eventually the picture of Islam began to grow stronger. While many complained of being victimized by discrimination, other Muslims claimed that post 9/11 their fellow non-Muslim Americans became more encouraging and helpful. Islam, as a religion and as a topic of discussion, has evidently grown throughout the USA. Many books are being published on the Islamic culture where as the Koran, the Muslim’s holy book, has become one of the bestsellers. On a more grass root level, Muslim Student’s organizations have made their way into American high schools.

The role of the Islamic mosques has drastically changed since, as now it is not strictly a place for worship. Socialization and Islamic preaching of culture, values and language has grown in the places of worship. The birth of the new Islamic organizations give complete regard and respect to the laws and regulations of the country and wish to ensure that all Muslims are acknowledged in the society and are given the chance to prove their loyalty to the USA.

Assalāmu `alaikum Warahmatullāhi Wabrakatuh,

There are two views among the Ulama regarding the disposal of interest money received from the bank:

1) The first view is that such interest money can only be given to the poor who are entitled to receive Zakat (i.e. they must not possess the nisab of Zakat). It is also necessary that the recipients are granted ownership and possession of the wealth (tamleek al-fuqaraa). According to this view, it is not permissible to utilise such interest money directly in public welfare projects, such as building roads, bridges and public toilets etc.

(Fatawa Mahmudiya: 24l431, Maktaba Mahmudiya)

2) The second view is that in addition to giving such interest money to the poor, it is permissible to use such interest money directly in public welfare projects. According to this view, granting of ownership to the poor (tamleek al-fuqaraa) is not a requirement.

(Fatawa Raheemiya: 9/279-282, Darul Isha’at)*
(Kifayatul Mufti: 7/105, Darul Isha’at)

The first view is more precautionary (ahwat) whereas the second view is more accommodating (awsa’).

In view of the different academic views, there is a leeway to use interest money received from the bank for the construction of toilets and ablution facility for an orphanage.

Note:
As a general rule, no Muslim by his free choice should deposit his money in an interest-bearing account. A non interest-bearing account should be utilised for the purpose. If there are any intricacies, a mufti should be consulted.

By my brother, Muhammad Tim, 4th year student at Madinah University:

Assalaamu alaykum warahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu,

All praise is due to Allah, and may peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his companions.

With regard to the matter of sincere intention, it seems that some people are confused with regard to certain aspects. Therefore, I wished to make the following points, and all success is from Allah:-

1. Firstly, the correct intention is one of two conditions for every act of worship to be accepted, along with the action being in accordance to the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah – may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. The proof for this is the statement of Allah, the Exalted, The proof for this principle can be found in Allah’s statement: “So whoever hopes for the meeting with his Lord – let him do righteous work and not associate anyone in the worship of his Lord.” [Al-Kahf 18:110].

2. Secondly, the essence of the correct intention is for an action to be sincerely for the sake of Allah, and not to contain any form of shirk, or giving some of Allah’s rights to someone or something else. Fadl bin Ziyaad said, “I asked Abu Abdullah (i.e., Imaam Ahmad) about the intention in action, how should it be? He said, ‘One should treat his self when he intends to do an action, not desiring by it the people (i.e. showing off).’”

3. Thirdly, intention is something that needs to be constantly reviewed and worked upon. Sufyaan ath-Thawree said, “I have not battled with anything more difficult than my intention.”

4. Fourthly, the fact that another person is the cause for some of your good deeds, or that they call you to guidance, or that they encourage you to do something which you were not intending to do, does not affect your intention. This is part of the foundation of da’wah and calling people to guidance. The Prophet – may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him – used to encourage some of the companions to do actions that they were not intending to do, and he encouraged others to do the same. The Prophet – may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him – said, “Whoever calls to guidance has the reward of it and the reward of everyone who acts upon it, until the Day of Resurrection, without their reward being decreased in any way.” So if a brother comes to you and says, ‘come to the masjid’, and you were not intending to come, but because of him calling you to guidance, you decide to come, and you make your worship for the sake of Allah alone, then your intention is correct, if Allah wills, and the fact that another brother called you to do something that you had not planned to do does not affect your intention.

Similarly, if your intention was not pure, and then you realise that you have been showing off in some of your deeds, then you correct them and seek Allah’s forgiveness, then your intention returns to being correct, and if you do so before you complete the action (such as before you finish praying), then you do not lose the reward of the entire prayer.

5. Fifthly, showing off is a form of minor shirk and is extremely serious, but it is equally serious to not perform good deeds out of fear of showing off. Al Fudayl bin ‘Iyaad considered it another form of riyaa’. Rather you should say, ‘O Allah, I seek refuge with you from making partners with you while I realise, and I ask your forgiveness for what I do not realise.’ Leaving that which Allah has ordered you out of fear of what people may say can even reach the level of major shirk, so do not allow the shaytaan to open a door to your destruction!

To answer the question, “if a person became Muslim because of worldly reasons but later changed their intention sincerely for the sake of Allah and repented, then that is okay?”

To answer this question, my point was that it may happen, and that a person may correct themselves. A person’s Islam is not accepted by Allah until it is sincere – this is one of the conditions of laa ilaaha ill Allah, but as Muslims we are commanded to treat them as normal Muslims, since the matter of intention is left to Allah. In general, we shouldn’t rush to encourage a person who is not sincere. This does not benefit Islam and the Muslims, and the person themselves may be harmed.

However, we may see someone who has some fault in their intention, and we believe that there is a good chance that the person will be corrected, based on their environment and their character. First of all we should try to correct their intention before they become Muslim. In the example of marriage, we try to make the marriage secondary to pleasing Allah. If we believe that they will change, then we may accept their Islam. However, if the person who they are marrying is not even practising Islam, then it is unlikely that they will see the beauty of Islam, when the person they are marrying does not even see it. So, I think that we should be very careful in some of these cases. More information here:

6. Sixthly, a person may enter Islam for the sake of the dunyaa, or with a fault in their intention and then correct his or her intention, as Imaan enters their hearts, and so become from the true Muslims. This was the case of some of the companions, especially those who became Muslim after the conquest of Makkah. Some of them became Muslim for worldly reasons, but the sun did not set before Allah and His Messenger were more beloved to them than the earth and whatever was in it. This does not mean that we should encourage people to become Muslim who do not want to, however, we have not been asked to rule based on the hearts of the people, and it is possible for people to change once they see the beauty of Islam.

7. Finally, do not succumb to the whispers of shaytaan, that when a person calls you to do something good you say, ‘my intention is not right’ – this is nothing but the whisperings of the shayaateen, may Allah protect me and you from them. Rather embrace this good deed and make it sincere for Allah without showing off. This way you will get the reward for your action, as will the person who called you to do good. At the very least be honest and say, ‘I am too lazy to do it’, rather than inventing a religious excuse that Allah has given you no authority for; perhaps Allah will open your heart to the truth because of your honesty.

Don’t forget that intention alone is not enough for your deeds to be accepted. They must also be in accordance with the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah – may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. ‘Aa’ishah – may Allah be pleased with her – narrated that the Prophet – may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him – said, “Whoever does an action that is not in accordance with my affair [i.e., my sunnah] then it is rejected.”

May Allah grant us all beneficial knowledge and the ability to act upon it, and save us from the whisperings of the shaytaan,

Wassalaamu alaykum warahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu,
Muhammad Humble.

Allah’s messenger told the Muslims “He who innovates something in this matter of ours (Islam) that is not of it will have it rejected” Bukhari & Muslim

Imam Ahmad Raza Khan RAH and other religious scholars have discussed about many different schools of thoughts that consider Shaitaan as their guide or Murshid. Muslims should only consult and follow true religion based on Quran and Sunnah. Following the cults will definitely direct Muslims in the wrong directions that will cause the rage of Allah. Followers of cults are the slaves of darkness and illiteracy.

The wicked deceivers criticize the teachings of Ulema. They jeer, mock and spread misconceptions such as Ulema and Fuqraa differ from each other and they have lots of differences in their thoughts and preaching. These evil jesters question on the most educated and qualified Ulema and cast doubts about their veracity. They criticize them, declare them as “pundits”, and claim that they should show off their spiritual powers and show evidence in the form of miracles like Prophets of Bani Israel.

Heretics that are self pro-claimed saints Walis and Dervaishs say that following Shari’ah is only essential as long as a person has not found the true path. Once the person stops searching and have adopted Sufism to become closer to Allah, it is not required. He can stop following Shari’ah once he has done Ba’ait and reached his destination as per his disillusion and ill faith.

So-called Peers is another group of people that is very active in creating misconceptions in the hearts of the innocent Muslims. These are uneducated, uncultured and uncultivated so called Peer’s or Murshids who read various books and claim that they have real knowledge or Ilm e Laduni. In fact, these people only have information collected from various sources. Half truth is more lethal than the whole lie. Moreover, they deny the position of prestigious religious scholars or Iyema karaam and present them as learned and competent faculty in various fields of Shari’ah and Fiqah.

Part 2

Rashaadites or Submitters believe that Rashaad Khalifa is messenger of Allah SWT (Naozbillah). This cult is misguiding Muslims by preaching to emphasize only upon Quran and ignore the sayings our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAAS. They have rejected two of the verses of Holy Quran and have changed the method of ablution and prayers as well.

Habashi or Al Ahbash: are the followers of Abdullah Al-Harawi Al-Habashi also known as Sheikh Al-Fitnah. He was known to have strange characteristics that matched with those of the Jews and invented many innovations.

Ismaili religious group is another cult that is not following the Quran and Sunah. The Ismailis follow Agha Khan who declared him as mazhar of manifest of Allah SWT on earth (Naozbillah).

Believers in Ahmadiyyia or more popular Qadiani Movement in the subcontinent have the most erroneous beliefs. Ahmadi or Qadiani follow the false prophet Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. They have rejected not only Holy Quran but jihad also and believe in the incarnation like the Hindus.

Nation of Islam is another cult that is based on blasphemies and they are definitely not in the circle of Islam with their so-called beliefs. One of the famous Nation of Islam followers was Malcom X who converted from Christian to so-called Muslim. Later on, he embraced Sunni Islam and performed pilgrimage.

The real Islam is the same described by the Holy Quran and Sunah. There is no need of bringing any innovations in Islam but yes, we need to check on our beliefs if they are the same as of the true believers or not.

I woke up to the harsh reality of being alone in this entire world. All my fellow passengers were no more with me. And, I could find no trace of any being near me. I walked for miles and kept on walking on the trodden trails until I reached a spring. I sat on a large rock and put my legs in the freezing water. The icy water was giving me refreshing feelings and let go of the heat escaping through my eyes, hair and from the back of my neck. It was relaxing. I closed my eyes and felt like drowning in the serene numbness. It was reaction of the cold mountain water. My mind was no longer attentive to the pains and the aches. Everything was fading away.

I was losing memories of what had happened to me all these times while I was in the journey. My pains were leaving my body as it turned cold and numb. At last, I am where I meant to be – relaxed – not aware of my surroundings – tired but still keeping little hope inside me. I was near to my destination. Yes, I am finally there.

I had forgotten my path. I was astray but now I feel I am there. The fountain oozing out of the mountainous grounds will take me directly to where I need to belong. I need to belong to those valleys of love where springs and lakes give birth to idyllic banks. I need to belong to those high wild mountains where flowers in vivacious colors bloom at dawn. Where I can touch the clouds and feel the wind beneath my arms, caressing the sides of my body as I spread my arms – I am ready to embrace the realities – no more give me pain – I am ready to jump in the ocean of rainbow colors – I am absorbing all the energies like a sponge in water. I am flying and flying and flying again.

When a person wakes up after long sleep, he finds out that all he saw or did was in his dream. A long dream that sometimes looks so real. Waking up also means getting rid of false ego – false notions – false truths. The world with its so much charm is nothing more than but beautiful illusion. No one can live in his or her dreams forever. So, one day every being or nafs wakes up to find him all alone in the jungle. He is left alone because all those who were with him left behind, as they could not break the spell. Like that, story where the people were warned not to look back and if they did they would be turned into stones. Same way if the person cannot give up the thoughts of what he left behind he can lose his track and concentration – turn into a stone.

That trodden path or trail is the same track many people before him had walked on. It is full of dangers and risks. It is not easy but every person who wanted to reach the destination had to be on it. Perhaps, the right path is the most difficult thing to follow but those who wanted to reach the fountains of real knowledge or ilm had never left their heart. The springs of Noor or Divine Light ooze out of the illuminated heart. Those who had given up on their Nafs or Ego are the owners of such illuminated hearts. From their heart comes out the wisdom – the true words – the real love and blessed are those who reach to them for the connection of their heart to them.

When the seeker finds the true healer of hearts or Murshid he knows he has come to his final destination. His worldly lust will now leave him forever and he will find peace in the feet of his master or Murshid. The search for Murshid keeps him perturbed and he remains anxious after the awakening begins. His curiosity never subsides until he drowns him in the waters of spring. He feels calm and relaxed and wants to start from scratch. Knowing only this time he is going to find a way to please Him SWT at last. His quest begins in the dark corners of his heart and ends in the bright circle of Noor. After finding the Murshid he has done him a great big favor and now he can find some time to relax.

The true Murshid will intoxicate him with the true love and let him drown in the ocean of Noor. The real Murshid can adorn his heart with wisdom – let him recognize the true path to reach Falah or the higher level of tranquility and peace. The one who is sent by Allah SWT will release the heart of the seeker of all doubts, fears, and illusions and inform him of the unseen and hidden qualities, attributes and capabilities. He shall remove the veils of darkness and falsehood and at the same time prepare him for the eternal realities.

The seeker will now feel no more lonely and alone. He will find more like him and they are his true relations made by heart. Every seeking heart for truth shall connect the other heart beseeching Divine. The one who has the questions in his or her heart to know the reality of his or her being, presence on earth and the true spirit of Deen should find them true masters to keep them safe. Satanic interventions are stronger in the heart of true seeker so he or she may refrain from all those activities that bring him or her in a problematic situation.

Get in touch with your real healer of heart and get cured by his words, his intentions and prayers. To seek the true healer, Murshid, or teacher there is a way. First of all, Ask Allah ji SWT for the trace of real Murshid for you and then search the person who is following Quran and Sunah in the highest manner and who is soft spoken, well versed with Fiqa, Tafseer and Shira, equipped with latest scientific knowledge, psychology, philosophy, social sciences. The real Murshid will have all the qualities to be superior to others and he will be the true successor of Aqa Kareem our Beloved Prophet Sallalaho alay hi wasalam.

His heart has turned into the heart of one who is caring for humankind. He has been blessed with satisfaction to his soul and this time he is so sure of the source. His life is perfect with no chains of worldly passions and he has learned to live according to the will of Allah SWT.

Did you wonder if this was the final developmental stage of nafs or this is as far as it can go? Then you are very wrong. It was just the awakening – just the beginning of another life – another realm – another world. This is not the end of the story.

His heart is beginning to attune with the nature and the Creator. He finds him free of so many chains and now is the time to fly with no weight of sins upon the shoulder – the biggest sin for him from this point onwards will be to be disobedient.

His disobedience will be to remain ignorant of the feeling of his Beloved Lord. His absence or ignorance from observing the name of Allah SWT could cost him to pay a lot in form of regrets and bring his heart to the remorse. Now he will not cry for the unfulfilled desires, broken promises, and loss of health, wealth or love. These were all worldly desires. He comes out of the shadows of pain and sheds no tears except for the sake of his separation from his Beloved Allah SWT.

When he is in pain, he would not complain because he feels it is meant for his good. He objects to nothing and never develops regrets. He is grateful, and thankful and obliged all the time. He has surrendered his will for the Will to Allah SWT and fully turned towards His Lord Allah Almighty SWT. This is called the Nafs of Radiyah.

The moment he crosses the 5th stage of nafs strange development starts happening in him. All of a sudden, he is selected to be given the awareness of true realities. He is at an exalted place and now he is in position to receive the direct orders from his Lord. He is told to spread the knowledge – the real knowledge of the true path – the blessed knowledge of the blessed path. He sees the worldly desires come in front of him and he turns his face away.

He has everything yet he owns nothing. He has all power given by Allah SWT and yet he does not use his power unless permission granted by Allah SWT. He could be Murshid/Shiekh or the teacher and have many obedient pupils.

He could be very rich, very highly educated or simply an illiterate person working in the fields. Nobody can know the real identity of this person. He has grown fond of silence and he hardly says anything but what his Allah SWT allows him to utter. He remains indulged in the beauty and charm of his true Beloved and the inner realms. The rest seems of no interest or values so little.

He must have been born lucky or perhaps some sort of act or good deed has brought him far. He was alone in this long journey. But these are just manmade assumptions. We can never be able to know how/why/when. All we can say that he wished and was chosen as per the order of the Generator – The Orator – the Designer – in short, Allah Subhana Wa Tallah. He is now at the stage of Nafs of Mardiyah. He is now a teacher, a healer, a contemplator, a believer and a true lover.

The final and the highest stage that a nafs can achieve and bear is by selecting the highest degree of attainment and perfection as this stage is called the Nafs of Pureness. Not many can reach to this stage so high and exalted. It is not in the hands of any person to bring anyone to this final destination and stage of nafs. It is only the will and order of Allah SWT to choose anyone among His SWT servants.

The stage that the person has reached with all the efforts and obedience – the place where there is nothing but the Noor of Allah SWT. His heart illuminates with the blessing and kindness of Allah SWT.

He is now ready to take on the responsibilities imposed by Allah SWT. He can be a Saint of some high order or somebody not visible to the people. He prays and his prayers are heard. He thinks and he is granted. He is given without wanting. He is rewarded with the true love from the Allah SWT. He knows and shares all the secrets of hearts. He is given the strength to sow the seed of love in an unfertile womb.

He is given the strength to change the things to benefit others by supplication and he is given the highest place among his fellowmen. Only a few could come this far and some of them went further. Beyond the limits of this world, there is another world where the advanced knowledge is and there seems to have no limits. It is only the Creator and slaves of His SWT servants of Allah SWT know.

Nafs of the man has immense powers and strengths given by Allah SWT. The person can explore and expose some of them. Use the powers but only if one has given up on the ego and surrendered his will, his desires, his dreams and his ego in front of Allah SWT. He has to be ready to serve and stand in front of his Lord and Beloved, from dawn till dusk. Allah is One and Only, and only He SWT can bring the tranquility and peace of mind. The rest Allah knows the best.

The negligence towards the Divine caused him a lot of suffering. At one point of his life, it made him pay a lot. He accuses his own heart, confesses, repents and asks for the forgiveness. The Creator listens to his prayers and contemplations. He is being heard well and the veils on his heart are lifted.

The person comes under new light and he can see the new picture. A picture that he painted himself – only this time his Lord want him to take the brush, load it with opaque color and start repainting. He covers the canvas and prepares a new base. He loads his brush again but this time he is wise. He selects the beautiful subtle shades. All the colors of nature around him and those that he just became aware of – hues of red, blue and yellow – with lots of pure white to create all the new tints of life.

He has come to know of the One and Only God, Allah SWT. He starts getting his inspirations from everything around him. From the plants – from the wind – from the sun, stars and moon – from his son, daughter and friends – from strangers – from the pets – from the books, movies and songs – from the poems and prose – He can see the signs of His sovereignty everywhere. His heart has reached the third stage called the nafs of Mulhamah.

Allah SWT has given to his heart the strength it needed to break free the chains of selfishness, anger, resentment, jealousy, regrets, sadness, falsehood and break all the idols he once formed in his heart knowingly and unknowingly. He is blessed with the insight to go beyond the limitations of his hands and feet and all of the five senses. He can feel with his sixth sense and the barren land of his heart has become fertile enough to sow the seed of love for cultivation.

His heart has got all the ingredients to grow the seed and now he waits for the gardener to water and let the sprouting begin. This small seed of love will need lots of care, patience and constant attention of the gardener to grow into small plant. With regular care and effort, the small plant will turn into a huge tree with roots deeper in the soils of his heart. His roots will be able to suck all the water from deep below to use it for the nourishment of his soul.

He can survive for days without the food but may not rest long to get food for his soul. At the current stage and later on he would have no fear to put him in melancholy. He is granted the real knowledge with amalgamation of his beliefs. The blend is perfect with information, experience and patience he has collected over the years. From the first stage to the third followed by the fourth the person goes through awesome, tiresome and of course, rewarding journey of his nafs and soul.

He has now entered the fourth stage of nafs called the Nafs of Mutmainnah. He has turned his dissatisfaction in to tranquility and his nature has transformed from the unrest to serene. The fruit of his efforts is now about to grow on the tree he planted so long ago. He has reached to the state of calmness, Gayan, Nirvana and found his salvation. He did not have to quit the world and go to the jungles. All he needed to do was to realize his own self and explore.

Only the self-realization has done the trick and it has brought him to where he is. He is no more a victim of depression, possessed by worldly desires, haunted by his own consciousness. He has broken the idols in his heart and now he will live as a free man. He bows down to supremacy of Allah SWT and gives up his will to please Him SWT.

The spirit of the person grows inside his body. For some people this growth is slow and gradual yet for other few the growth of the spirit is at fast pace. The growth of the spirit means the awareness through real knowledge – self-realization – that comes to the illuminated heart and purified soul.

Without body, the spirit or soul of the person is like someone with no legs. The body is the transporter, a container or simply legs of the spirit. The eyes, ears and rest of the senses are tools that help in exploring, cultivating experiences through observations and are the hands of the spirit. The heart is the place where your spirit resides.

Blind heart can never see the reality and thus remains busy in the worldly desires. The spirit with body and five senses remains crippled due to the ill treatment of soul given by heart. The heart full of desires is your nafs and lowly. The spirit of such person remains standing at a station where there is no traffic and the trains never run on those tracks. His state would be like the passenger with luggage in hand but nowhere to go. He is lost in the jungle of his own desires. This is the first stage called the Nafs of Ammarah where the person finds himself – all so addicted and attracted towards the worldly desires.

This stage of Nafs of Ammarah is very dangerous. His own body, hands, feet, tools to contemplate, and logic has gone against him and – his will – his mind – his soul is enslaved. This slavery continues and the person remains lost amidst the flow of his emotions in the heart. He feels angry and loses temper more often. He hardly can resist from being a spendthrift. All that matters to him is his arrogant and ignorant ego.

He is self centered and far away from the point of self-realization. He fights with or without any reason and destroys whatever that comes his way or bothers him. His conscious mind whispers to him no more. He hardly follows any religion or believes in what he says at all. His heart goes rusty – he has lost the tranquility and satisfaction to keep him relaxed – Nothing but repentance can release him off his aches and pains.

Soon the person finds him a solution and an end to his ailment. His spirit or soul has learned its lesson, grew tired of the less mobility, and wanting to break free the cage. New thoughts and ideas are striking his mind. He has his hands on more information and knows about new realities. It includes shown to him the real faces of his beloveds. The people whom he considered his friends turn out to be his biggest enemies.

He meets tragedies in life and knows of the bitter realities now. This is the time he is about to enter the second stage of nafs. It is called the Nafs of Lawamma. This is the stage where regrets develop and painful remorse grows. His heart begins to think of his Creator and the One whom he always had ignored. He wishes to get rid of his cowardice – lies – entrapments of desires to get freedom his heart ached for. This is when he finds him standing at a fork all the time. The heart begins to heal and start growing the wings to have the first flight outside his self-created realm and false universe.

This is the time he needs support. He is still not that strong. He needs to support and being told that he can do it if he struggles a little more. He needs to listen to the magical worlds that say ‘Everything is going to be ok.’ But this condition can be very much unpredictable. He might quit on what he received today and you might find him back to track next day. Following the next day, you find him on the same track and in the same cumbersome situation again.

His will power is not much stronger to support him to do the right thing and take the right step. So, he is still in the danger zone. One wrong word – a single wrong step – a small unlucky event, bad incident or mishap – can make him forget what he was told. This leads him back to the same point where he was standing a while ago. This is the state of confusion.

I was not conscious where I was. That sharp pain brought me back to conscious. I did not know for how long I remained there unconscious. I opened my eyes and saw the clear blue sky and the glare of sun made my eyes shut again. The sun was too sharp and brutal to my eyes.

I put my arm on the eyes to protect them. I could feel the warm sand beneath me.

My chapping lips, dried without water, badly needed few drops of water to wet them. “Water!” I could hardly hear my plea. This time I was a bit louder “Water!”

I gathered my courage, tried to sit on my elbows, and lifted my head. All I could see was sand all around me. I was in the middle of nowhere. The scorching heat was melting the juice of my brains. I forgot the situation I was in and frantically looking around to see if I had anything to soak my drying throat. It was like thorns grown in my gullet.

There was no flask around me to quench my thirst. I was longing for chilled drink. Perhaps this was the beginning of end or I was having the worst nightmare of my life.

“Is it real?” I shook my head in disbelief.

“No! No! This can’t be”

“But then what happened?”

“Where am I?”

“Why am I here in the heart of waterless ocean? Not even a single drop of water. What the hell happened to me?”

The realization of being alone suddenly went through my soul and I shuddered. I was scared like a goat about to be sacrificed to please the angry gods. “Am I being reprimanded or is it the price I pay for my sins?”

This is exactly how the person with uncontrollable nafs or worldly desires feels at some point of his life. The cruel nafs or the heart full of desires can never allow the inner self to contemplate. It only brings shame and the person to unwanted ill situations. Nafs is like a wild horse and unless you put the reins on it and tame it – it goes on running wild without knowing what its master is going through. It will drag you to the deserted land of sand where you will long for a drop of water. Unless you harness the horse with firm hold on the reins, it will not stop but drag you towards unknown dangers.

Your nafs or heart can be purified with a single drop of tear from your eyes in repentance. You can put reins of Shira on your nafs and tame it strongly by following the Quran and Sunah. Once it is tamed, it will become your slave and take you towards the right destination. The above nightmare can turn into a reality and the materialistic desires can lead you to the middle of nowhere.

Total understanding of the religion you are following is very important. It does not matter if you have just embrace Islam or were a born Muslim. The best way to understand Islam is to learn it from those people who have walked on the path of Islam and adopted completely without any prejudice or conditions.

The people who believe in following the true path and remain stable with faith in their hearts are the blessed ones. The blessed souls appointed by Allah SWT are meant to provide guidance to the ignorant hearts. They are known as Saints or Wali Allah and they are the friends of Allah SWT. Their path or the way of preaching is to teach Islam for the illumination of hearts by following Quran and Sunah. This is the Sufism.

Sufism is not something that you cannot understand. By understanding Sufism, it does not mean you are a Sufi. There is so much information available in the books and on the portal of internet.

Lot of People who have read and shared information about Sufism or Tasawaf are not necessarily the true followers or leaders. Not every religious person and practicing Muslim can be declared as the real Sufi because Sufism is not merely fulfilling the obligations or unusual practices. Sufism is the real understanding of Islam and adaptation of Deen after lot of meditation, contemplation, acceptance with all your senses present from the heart.

Sufism teaches never to believe without asking question. It is not something that invites the follower to walk blindfolded. Sufism is the reality of religion and the true spirit of Islam. It is not based on personal perceptions but its foundation is laid on the complete comprehension of Islam.

Islam is not only a religion but also Deen of every human being on this planet till the day of resurrection is formed. The true believer following the true path of Islam is bound in an agreement with Allah SWT to contemplate and meditate. Unconditional surrender to the ascendancy and supremacy of Quran and Sunnah is an obligation meant to be fulfilled for the eternal success here and hereafter.

As Allah SWT says in Holy Quran that ‘And to Him belongs all, there is in the heavens and the earth, and Deen is (rightly) His alone. Why is it, then, that you fear others the way you should fear Him (alone)? (Holy Quran 16:52)’

The Religion is not exactly the same like Deen. Deen is the complete code of life and it is not limited to the individual being or meant for his or her own salvation but it is for the whole of mankind. It has a vast meaning and has so much depth in it that cannot be completely comprehended unless the person seeks a teacher. He or she needs someone to help him understand the Deen e Islam or Deen al Haq.

Someone they need who walked on the path of Saleh and Falah or true path. Somebody who contemplated gave up on worldly desires of earning money, designation and fame but also eliminated every such desire that urged him or her to not to learn the Deen. Such a person is called the Sufi. Sufi is whom who wishes to follow the path of the true followers. The true followers of Deen are called Saints, and Sufism is what they taught to their pupils. The teaching of Saints is the real way of learning the religion and Deen of Islam. So, Sufism is the that light and source of illumination that controls, eradicates the darkness of heart and enhances the visionary skills to understand the religion and Deen e Islam.

The word Muslim means “a person who acquires peace by submitting his will to Almighty God. The role of Muslim in a non-Muslim society can be divided into two categories. The first one is the action and deeds that is related to him and the other one is the actions and the deed related to the non-Muslims.

It is essential to know that, what is compulsory for a Muslim in a Muslim society is also compulsory in a Non-Muslim society like every Muslim has to believe in Allah and worship one almighty God Allah. So a Muslim has to follow the core requirements of Islam in a Non-Muslim society too like praying five times a day, giving Zakaat etc.

In case of women, she has to wear the veil in the Non-Muslim society too. The Muslims in Non-Muslim society cannot do or follow things that are Haram in Muslim world. Like drinking alcohol and gabling is always Haram is Islam. So a Muslim has to avoid these. A Muslim in a Non-Muslim has to make peace with other so they can live in peace and harmony. The Muslim should always help the Non-Muslim society if it is required for everyone.

Osama Bin Laden, the synonym of terrorism has distorted the image of Islam. Only for this guy people associate Islam with terrorism. Osama repeatedly said that what he and his group Al-Qaeda do is for the sake of Islam. They are giving out totally wrong definition of Islam. They are creating chaos all around the world by killing people, vandalizing properties and so on. These are strongly forbidden in Islam as Islam has always discouraged chaos at any point of life.

Osama used Islam to shelter his wrong deeds. He repeatedly used the word Zihad to describe his works which is completely a misconception. Overtime he provoked terrorism all around the world in the name of Islam.

In the whole Quran terrorism, killing people and all these stuffs are absolutely prohibited and those who do such are supposed to get strong punishment. Osama killed people to fulfill his wish, not for the sake of Islam. He consistently insulted Islam by creating a fallacy about the most peaceful religion in the world. The Muslim scholars always leveled his actions as illegal. He did a shameless attempt to abuse the image of Islam by the destructive works against humanity.

Islam is considered to be the first religion in this earth to establish human right. Prior to this it people hardly had any concern regarding their rights. Human right was bought by the people who had power and money. Other people were treated as a commodity that were bought and sold in the market.

The poor people were treated as slaves regardless of gender. Once there were rules where female child were buried alive because they were treated as burden. There was chaos everywhere. Islam at first said that all human beings equal. It made the slavery illegal and showed the people of freedom.

In every aspect of life people were order to maintain equality and harmony among them. Each and every representative of Islam followed and encouraged others to do the same. Islam is the religion of peace and brotherhood. The Quran- the Religious book of Muslims has told- “Every Muslim is a brother of each other”.

The Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM) along with other Prophets has showed how to maintain human right. Islam has spread the message of human rights throughout the world and if Islam is practiced properly then human rights will appear at its desired form which is yet to be achieved.

In Islam the judgment day, also known as Qiyamah, refers to the final assessment of God over humanity. On that everyone will get reward and punishment for the works they have done in their life time. According to one’s deed they will either go to heaven or hell. Every Prophet of Islam warned people of that time to have faith in this judgment day because it is one of the important beliefs of Islam.

Besides Allah, no angel or prophet has the knowledge of the time of the Judgment day. However the holy book of Islam, the Holy Quran points out that certain event will take place before the time of Judgement Day. The last prophet of Islam, Prophet Muhammed, explained in details and the consequences of the judgment day knowing that it will come upon on this very humanity. The messenger of Islam has also talked about some major and minor signs prior to the final hour.

Major Signs: The major signs of judgment day are the return of Jesus, Rising of the Sun from etc.

Minor Signs: Minor signs include drinking of alcohol, pervasiveness of ignorance and other signs like this. It is believed that on judgment day a new life will begin that will never end.

The current world is emphasizing at the propaganda that the Muslims are the terrorists and their religion Islam provokes terrorism. This misconception has been created because of some unfortunate incidents by a number of terrorist who admit themselves as Muslims. These people keep saying what they are doing these for the sake of Islam. They are creating a great misconception about the religion which always conveys the message of peace and brotherhood.

An entire group of religious followers should not be evaluated by the deeds of the some people who hardly know about that religion. We should consider the whole picture. There is saying- A book should not be judged merely by its cover, rather we should focus on the content. If we want to evaluate Muslims then we better analyze the Islam.

Muslims are supposed to represent peace around the world and they did in the past and also majority of them are doing this. But the people who choose the path of terrorism but ironically admit themselves as Muslim cannot be the part of it. Their works are always discouraged by Islam and they have no right to admit themselves as followers which means Muslims are not really terrorists.

Even though the modern world is portraying Islam as the religion of terrorism but ultimately Islam is the religion of peace and modesty. The meaning of the word Islam is peace and throughout the whole Quran- Muslims’ religious book this aspect is been reinforced.

The religious leader of Islam Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM) has always conveyed the message of fraternity and modesty among people. For example He has always encouraged people to forgive others even though they have caused a great bit of harm. Moreover in Islam revenge is strongly discouraged.
Some people may argue about the concept of Zihad which means fighting against the people who assault the core concept of Islam. Zihad is not only about getting a sword and killing people. It is both physical and psychological. Islam has always discouraged people to engage in fight and even if other people start doing this, they are told to settle the dispute in a peaceful manner.
In Holy Quran Allah has ordered the Muslim to follow the lifestyle of Prophet Muhammad (SM) and throughout the life time He has suggested people to follow the path of peace, harmony, brotherhood and modesty which will lead them to Heaven.

Media is considered to be the most influencing factor for a country. It is regarded as the most useful weapon for a particular group if they can make the best use of it. It is something which can be used to communicate with the mass people and instill a value or belief into.

There is immense need for an Islamic media for the Muslim countries because by this Muslim countries will be able to communicate their religion- Islam and wipe out all the misconceptions about it. Apart from this, by using the Islamic media the Muslim countries can counter the attack on them because worldwide there is been a propaganda that Islam promotes terrorism. If the Muslim countries can come up with a strong media then can communicate with the rest of the world in a more appropriate way.

Additionally, having a media always works as leverage for a group. If the Muslims can incorporate the value they believe with the media they will create a positive mindset about their culture. The need is also being elicited from current scenario of the Muslims. If the Muslims are capable of setting up an efficient media, then it will work for their best interest.

Over the past few decades Islamic countries have become segregated for different issues and it had adverse impact on the sovereignty of many countries. These countries have breached their religion’s core value because Islam is the religion of peace and brotherhood.

So there is been a huge disparity between these countries and it needs to be fixed. It is very important for Islamic countries to be reunited because lack of this is causing adversely each and every country. Once there was a golden era for the Muslim countries just because they were united.

To get these countries reunited they need to work on the underlying reasons which caused the separation. The most significant reason behind this is the lack of true dictatorship. Islamic countries do not have a true leader who could lead themselves and speak on behalf of them. It is causing other aspects of their relationship.

Another reason behind this is the lack of Islamic value among them and the prevailing misconception regarding their very own religion. It is been seen that Islamic countries do not practice the religion properly and this is affecting their value. If they can fix these issues they are most likely to be reunited and it is very important for their own existence.

America is been a sense of oppression in the eyes of Islamic countries over the past few years. After the incident of nine-eleven America and the western world has integrated Islam with terrorism and since then they have been promoting it.

So to Muslim countries America have been a great rival of Islam. This rivalry is elicited not only from the incident of nine-eleven; there are some other significant reasons some of which are relationship with Israel, ever evolving unfavorable relationship with the Muslim countries.

The influence of America can hardly be described by only the war; it has influence in the culture, lifestyle, and trend of the countries. Overtime America has treated most of the Muslim countries as their rival and vice-versa.

If we want to describe the overall influence then it exactly starts from the very childhood of a person living in Muslim countries. A child is taught to picture America as a rival and oppressive group and as they are brought up, this becomes even deeper.

The contribution of this type of mindset also goes to media because all the time media is portraying the rivalry between these two groups. For example a number of movies have been made just focusing on this issue. America is having a great bit of negative influence on the Muslim countries.

By definition democracy is something, which is a policy of take decision with the opinion of all people. It is something which allows challenging the extreme power. In Islam we have found that the extreme power is only for one God, and that is Allah. But after this Islam always prefer to follow the democracy in all the sectors.
After the death of last prophet Hazrat Muhammad sm, four Caliphs get the chance of lead the Muslim world. They were the automated choice in that position, the reason was they were the best person in that time and they was the closest person of Hazrat Muhammad sm.

After this when no superior person was not in there, and then Muslim world started to follow a system which is quite like democracy. That times the entire decision tool by the decision of scholar people who were greatly known as “Ulema”.

After times passed this Muslim world started to follow the democracy. In most of the Muslim countries are following this democracy process somehow. Muslim countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Syria, Iran, are following this democracy. Some Muslim countries like Saudi Arab still do not running on the path of democracy. Again, this democracy is following differently in Sunni and Shi’a based countries.

Islam is the religion of peace. From all the activities of Islam gives us the lesson of peace. Islam greatly preferred forgiveness. General pardon after the triumph of Makkah is another example of forgiveness of Islam. There are several reasons are in there for preferring forgiveness in Islam.

Now let’s start the discussion that the reason of preferred forgiveness in Islam. At first we already said that Islam is the religion of peace and forgiveness is one of the most important conditions of peace. Islam gives people lots of chance to do the right things. Islam shows us the perfect way of chose the right path. Now, the guilty person always influenced to find the good path if there is a chance of forgiveness.

Islam is the religion which gives the complete package of rules and regulation, which helps the people to lead their life properly. Islam, does not only gives the rules for running the social life but it also gives the rules to run the economic condition of the world. Islam also gives us message about the insurance. This article will discuss this topic.

In Islamic sharia interest is totally prohibited. Earning money through interest is a policy, where a person does earn money without any effort and it is totally banned in Islamic laws. Not only the interest all types of gifts, financial facilities and giving condition is prohibited for giving loan. By these words it does not mean that only taking interest is “HARAM”, but all of this style profit is also “HARAM”. In that sense insurance is also “HARAM”.

Insurance is the policy which is based on interest. Sometimes it becomes worst policy then interest. In insurance people gives an amount of money based on different perspective, like health issue, accident issue, education issue and many other issues, but it is not the confirm policy of get the money. Now, if this condition does not fulfill then the person who deposits the money into the insurance organization, he may lose the total amount of money. So then the money becomes totally “HARAM”. That’s why Islam does not support insurance.

Islam is a religion which gives a complete solution of life. This religion gives us an entire picture that how a person can lead his life. It gives us a complete box of rules and regulation for creating the economic strategies. That’s why on the basis of Islamic laws there are many banks are running their activities. In these banks all the type of interest on loan is totally prohibited as these laws.

Islam has given many rules and regulation for running the normal activities of our life. These rules and regulation are calling as Sharia. From this Sharia and from the normal activities of greatest prophet Hazrat Muhammad sm, we get the knowledge that Islam has prohibited all types of Interest.

This interest is mainly known as Riba in Islamic world. This interest does not mean only the money but it is also prohibited to take any type of gift, facilities, service or giving condition for giving loan to others. In the holy Quran it comes four times that interest is totally prohibited.

Now, there are many Islamic banks are running their activities on the basis of Islamic Sharia and as the Sharia these banks are bound to make their activities as interest free, otherwise their whole Islamic process will be valueless.

Do you have a cell phone, a computer, a car or an apartment to live in? If you have any one thing of these you are a rich person. And if you are spending your monthly money in buying the phone cards, the petrol for the car or bicycle, or even paying the bill for the air conditioner than you should consider spending a little on the poor around you.

This spending of some money to help the poor around you is considered to be the Alms-giving in Islam. This practice of Alms-giving in Islam is most liked and appreciated.

Islam is the religion of peace and care. You are a good Muslim if you take care of your people around you as well. It has been strictly said in Islam that you should take very good care of your neighbors and city mates. It has been a great practice to pay alms to the poor. This not only helps them to get the daily necessities of life but also makes them, feel that they are considered as the functional part of the society.

The alms-giving in Islam is not restricted to money only. You can also give the poor and needy people the clothes, the daily necessity things, and anything that you consider important. It has also been mentioned in Holy Quran that which people are considered as the desiring people for the Alms.

Economy is the major factor of any state. You need to maintain a strong economy if you wish to stand in the today’s advancing world. But to keep a strong economy, you need to take care of your currency. The major players in this field today are the Euro and the dollars.

If you wish to keep a stable economic condition in your country, you have to keep the foreign currency specially that I have mentioned running through your banks frequently. Now, the question is that is it the only solution? Can we make our selves stable only if we follow the currency of some other country? My answer would be that we can survive better if we bring and promote the new currency- the Islamic currency.

The major need of Islamic currency is that in this way, we will get our economy stable. Have you thought that the world’s most oil resides in Islamic countries, the salt ranges are immense, gold mines are more than anything, the world’s most elegant hotels and restaurants, and all sorts of things that can be a part of the economic boost up are lying within the Muslim countries? Then why don’t we have our own currency- One currency that is followed by Muslims around the globe. In this way not only we will be able to get a better use of our resources but also make our economies stronger and more stable.

Have you seen the despair that lasts long and ever in the eyes of the girl who has lost her father? Have you felt the agony of the women who is ruthlessly tortured just because that she was a Muslim? Have you ever placed yourself in their place and felt mourns and tears around you? If you haven’t, this is the time to think about it. The world is speaking of human rights protection and the war crime reduction but there are certain elements who are bypassing all the rules and regulations just to have some personal benefits.

I know about them, you know about them but we are force to keep our lips shut for the super power will thrash our head away if we dare to speak a single word against the cruelty and spite. This is not the uniform attitude; it is just against the Muslims. I question why is it so?

This discriminating behavior against Muslims has created huge global challenges for the Muslims. If you are a Muslim you must have observed the change the international community has brought in its attitude after the incident of 911. You have to pass through extra security checks on the airports, you have to pay for each and every thing you do whether legal or illegal, your mothers and sisters are no safer as in Afghanistan and Iraq. All these are the challenges you have to conquer. And that can only be done if you implement Islam in true sense.

There is an attack forward situation in Afghanistan; the government of Iraq is still weak; the people of Palestine are facing a huge increase in the miseries of their lives; do you know why all this has happened?

What impact this is creating on the lives and minds of the people all around the globe? What should we call it Islam after 911 or the master plan working right? Whatever the case, one needs to seriously consider the impact the incident of 911 has created on the lives of the Muslims all around the globe.

Islam after 911 has faced a bi of ups and downs. It is believed that after the incident many people got against Islam and Muslims but when the critics read truly about Islam, they were automatically attracted towards the beauty of Islamic teachings and rule procedures.

They came to know that the Muslims are indeed not the terrorists there are certain forces or elements that are using a few extremists to sabotage the image of Islam just for personal causes. In such a situation the people around the globe have got themselves a bit of more knowledge about Islam and thus they entered the circle of Islam group by group.

This Islam after 911 has the positive side but the rage of certain countries has also badly affected the Muslims after the incident of 911. And is totally a complete story that needs to be discussed to ourselves first clearly and truly.

Are you a Muslim? Have you ever learnt Islam or just doing the things as your forefathers have done? Well, it seems to be an odd question but in fact it is the most important thing that needs to be discussed immediately. The reason is that most of the Muslims do not get the knowledge of Islam in detail. They just have the preliminary knowledge with which they can offer their prayers and practice Fast and hajj. Most of the critical details are missed out especially when it comes to the knowledge of FIQAH.

Islam is the religion of peace and Muslims promote peace and love; this notion needs to be implemented in true sense. For that you need to learn Islam in detail. Then you will be able to know where to go for fight and where to show extreme tolerance.

You will come to know that Islam is more peaceful than any other religion in this world. But the discrepancies are in fact the misunderstandings of the extremists or the people who lack knowledge. You need to cover up these shortcomings if you want to survive in the global community and influence them with your character and behavior.

Muslims are indeed the peace lovers and you are the representative of all the Muslims- when you think like this, you will represent the true Islam and the people across the globe will say that the Muslims are the true peace lovers.

There are many banks all around the world. You sometime get worried how would you make it sure that you use Islamic banking. It is a banking activity that is consistent with principles of Islamic law. The main idea is to implement the Islamic economics. The main difference is that Islam prohibits the payment or acceptance of specific interest or fees for the loans. Today most of the banks around us are totally non-Islamic in true sense. As they charge interest on the loans.

Today there is the need for Islamic Bank- A bank that totally implements the trade rule and loan regulations. What generally are the criteria of yours when selecting the bank for you? You go for more profit; you find some good life long policies, or something else? If you are a Muslim, you should avoid using a bank that incurs heavy taxes on you. Simply you should go for a complete interest free banking.

The need for Islamic bank is a necessity for us now. How do you think that the banking will be introduced? Some non-Muslim will bring this change? No. Some miracle will happen? No. So it’s you who will bring the change. You can bring thee change if you keep it as a determinant Muslim. You are no less than anyone in this world and obviously the banking system suggested rather introduced by Islam is the best one.

Islam is a beautiful and compact religion. It is a religion of peace, harmony and social tolerance. It teaches us to live and behave nicely in the society. The true image of Islam can only be portrayed in front of the world if we truly implement the teachings of Islam.

As I said it is compact and complete religion it also teaches us how to behave with our neighbors and the rights of the neighbors. This article just pinpoints some important and critical rights of the neighbors.

As you know being a human being everyone has the right to live but being a neighbor makes it a great duty. You have to take care of your neighbors. You should keep the sound of your speakers low and especially when the neighbors are sleeping you should keep the volume down or use headphones to listen to the NAATS and lectures you have recorded.

You should take care of the neighbors, if by some condition they don’t have the lunch or dinner, you should prepare one for them. Is you keep in mind the true essence of Islam, your neighbors have more than one third of the total rights that other people have on you.

In the same way if you keep the neighbors happy, you will feel better yourself, keeping such a relation with your neighbors make Allah Almighty happy at you too.

Islam is a religion which is pure and intends to spread purity in the world. The Muslims are considered better on the basis of Taqwah that is the purity of soul. Furthermore Islam focuses on creating an environment that is full of clean people. “Clean people” means those people who are good at heart and mind.

It is a fact that Wine is prohibited in Islam. The simple reason is that anything which is alcoholic causes impurity in the body. The person who uses alcohol loses control over his senses and so, is unaware of the actions he does, or the words he says. This leads him to do bad to any extent without his knowledge. He can murder, he can steal things or even can perform adultery.

Islam definitely would never permit these actions. In fact, these actions are considered sins of the highest degree. Since Alcohol and wine is the root cause for these actions, Islam forbids wine or alcohol.

There is one way in which it is reluctantly permissible in Islam to have whine or alcohol. That is the case when alcohol is the only medicine to save the life of a Muslim. In this case, alcohol is allowed in pure form or in a combination of some other medicine. Other than that, Islam totally forbids its flowers to have Alcohol or whine in any form.

His subordinates called him a leader and master but he called himself the servant. This is the best characteristic of a leader. There are many other characteristics of a good Muslim Leader like:

A good leader is tactful. He knows how to handle situations and tackle people. Every wrong person must not be given a punishment to get his character straight. Sometimes any wrong thing done by any person can bring him to the rue path. A good leader knows whom to punish and to what extent.

A good leader is wise. He knows what strategy to adopt in any battle field. He also knows which types of people are suitable for which kind of job in the battlefield. Furthermore, he never burdens his subordinates. Plus he also boosts up his subordinates’ morale.

A good leader is just in making decision. All through the Islamic History, we find many example of justice form the leaders. And s good leader must follow the examples set by earlier leaders in Islam.

A good leader is humble at heart and graceful in personality. He doesn’t consider himself authoritative, rather serves the people under him. This makes his subordinates contented by him

The west believes that Islam is a religion that promotes extremism and demands its followers to be extremists. This is not true but is a pure misconception. The people who believe this don’t realize that the Muslims are actually ordered to avoid extremism in Islam. Islam never demands its followers to be extremists

The reality is that there are a lot of anti Islamic groups who want to portray a bad image of Islam to the world. It is their conspiracy against Islam. They kidnap children and train them to be extremists. Since the children are mere kids, they fail to realize that they are being used against Islam in a conspiracy.

The victims are told that they’ll get Havens and Allah’s reward. So, these children, when trained properly, are taken into missions which cause terrorism in the world.

But the reality is that Islam discourages all these kinds of bad activities. Forcing someone into any bad act is forbidden in Islam. The Muslims are not even allowed to force any non-Muslim to enter into Islam if the person is unwilling. The Muslims are ordered to convince the person first, only then can we ask a non-Muslim to enter Islam.

So there is no way that Islam is a religion of extremism. In fact, Islam discourages extremism of all levels.

Islam is a religion which not only focuses on the well being of a human’s personality but also the well being of the environment the humans live in. the Muslims are the best people who can make this world the best place to live in. it is because it is in their religion to save humanity and protect the environment in which they live in.

A good Muslim has a number of qualities and if any person fulfills all the teachings of Quran then he is surely a good Muslim. Let me highlight the qualities of a good Muslim one by one:

1. Kind to people: a good Muslim is the one who doesn’t think of himself only. But he is a person who cares about the people around him. He respects his parent. He is loving with kids and spouses. And not only people, but he is also kind and just with animals.

2. Prays and Fasts on time: the characteristic through which a person becomes a good Muslim is that he observes his prayers in time. Plus, he is at highest levels of purity of soul and to achieve increasing Taqwah, he fasts not only when it is obligatory to fast, but also fasts on nay day, just for Allah’s consent.

Apart from these qualities, another quality is that a good Muslim always does things for Allah’s consent.

Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) was the last and final Prophet of Islam. He conveyed the teachings sent by Allah (S.W.T) honestly and showed them by working on the teachings, practically. He was a man of His words, and promoted to speak the truth. He was a kind hearted man himself, and taught others to be kind to fellow beings. He was a man of dignity but very humble at heart, he taught others to live the same way.

The teachings of Muhammad (S.A.W) are exactly according to the Qur’an. Furthermore, he taught to live life in an excellent manner. He showed how to behave with different people. His teachings include:

Behavior with Children

Behavior with Spouses

Behavior with animals

Behavior with Children: All through his life, he was kind to children and taught the other Muslims to be kind as well. He especially gave orders to be kind to those children who are orphans or slaves. He always disliked rude behavior with children of any age.

Behavior with Spouses: Muhammad (S.A.W) declared the best man to be the one who is excellent in behavior with the man’s spouses. He himself was very kind and caring to his wives and taught the same to us as well.

Behavior with Animals: his teachings of spreading kindness were not only restricted to humans but also animals. He never encouraged annoying the animals even for fun.

Let us first know what actually Fast is. It is a state of not eating or drinking anything for a specific period of time. In Islam, it is form SAHAR to AFATR. The former refers to the morning time before twilight and the latter refers to the sunset time. Muslims observe fast in this specified time.

In holy Month of Ramadan, it is compulsory for the Muslims to observe Fasts, except for those who are unable to observe Fasts physically or because of some predefined reasons like being in a travel/journey.

Muslims observe fasts to make Allah happy by their good deeds and to ask for forgiveness of their sins. The main idea behind observing fasts is that keeping yourself hungry you are in a better position to understand the hunger and thirst of the poor and thus it creates goodwill.

It helps in making a better society where everyone cares for each other. Islam is the religion of peace and tolerance and observing fasts develop a habit of tolerance in people.

Muslims keep them selves away from the sins and bad deeds especially in the condition of fasts. As it is a necessary part of fats that one keeps a distance from the evil.

Moreover Muslims believe that satin is captured in the holy month of Ramadan and thus they have a better chance to do good deeds and get reward from Allah. Anyhow, the main idea remains the same that is to develop a better, pious and tolerant society.

What do you think a human needs the most: wealth, health, or something else? Have a look inside your own self, what do you need the most? You will come up with one answer that is peace, pleasure, and calmness of mind. This is what Muslims claim that they get when they follow their religion. Then do you think that these people can be the slayers of innocent people around the globe?

Have you ever thought why the Muslims are treated as terrorists mostly? Let’s have a look around our self first. You may have met some Muslim in your life time, if so has he or she ever cheated you or has he or she ever abused you? Keep your answer to your.

Now think about the people of any other religion have they ever done something wrong to you? Again keep your answer to yourself and analyze why Muslims are treated as terrorists? If you get any answer, you will certainly come to know that we cannot blame the whole lot just because of a few extremists. So don’t you think that we should first analyze the things before jumping to the conclusions? This is what depicts the true picture of the jargon Muslim-terrorists.

Every person is a human being and has the right to live peacefully and it’s the duty of every good citizen to provide this right to his fellows and neighbors. So let’s stop thinking on the basis of religion or race and live peacefully.
